It was a ridiculous statement that's for sure, especially seeing at the time the PS3 had already ran beta tests, namely, WarHawk.

But in Capcoms defense I think the quote was taken out of context, I believe at the time he was remarking at the low install base and there for the lack of feedback achievable from a beta. At least that's what I hope. I seriously doubt anyone could be foolish enough to say such a thing (seriously).

Oh, and you want to make fun of betas? In case you haven't noticed, betas allows the gamers to test the game out first and in turn they give positive/negative feedback. That actually helps the game *evolve* so when it comes out, it's not a disaster.

We already know Killzone 2 is coming out in February of next year and Resistance 2 is coming out in November.
