You may not know that much, but I know more than enough about it to warrant a purchase. I'm too lazy to type everything up though, as I learned my info from a magazine.

In short, watch a video clip, find a way to interact with it (very vague / limited instructions). Find out how to interact and you see a longer clip from the same movie.

I've heard somewhere before that it was only a tech demo and somewhere else said i t was an interactive movie game someone please clarify.How much is it going to be priced anyway or is it just a demo?

eventually yes. this was written by a german team which is why it hits Europe first. they were actually asked by Sony themselves to produce it and there has been reports of more to come (based on the success of Linger)

Linger in Shadows is made by Plastic Polish demogroup not German. First pictures were posted on german website 4sceners.de. There are mostly Poles in the group except xenusion and cdnalsi.

Plastic is NOT making this game! They are CONTRIBUTING their artwork and talent!!! There are more demo scene groups working on this. Santa Monica is making the game.

Only reason I used caps and !!! is because this isn't the first time I heard someone think this.

this is a game made by people linked to the old Amiga demo scene. i've got a feeling people are not going to get it simply because console owners have a gamers mentality. this is not a game, it's an interactive demo. as you move through the tech demo you can alter the course of that demo by finding hidden items and eventually the demo will last longer. if you expect a game, you will be disappointed. see it more as a working piece of art

similar to how "Heavy Rain" has so much going on that you can replay a scene over and over

from what i read, "linger in the shadows" also has that go back and do it again differently option. hidden things, paths etc.. because it all looks like a level, you may forget its a part of the world not just a building in the world...

one thing to mention before anyone bashes this.. its that it all the developers get together for projects like this on pc's etc all the time but its for the most part a hobby.. this wasnt done by a game studio it was done by a group of brilliant designers and coders, and artists etc... as a side thing while they have real jobs to pay pills...

it might have already happened but there was talk of "linger in shadows" possible success or high interest from the community that sony may put up the money for them to work out of a studio as a full time staff.

It's a playable tech demo, basically. It's a way to use your imagination. Sony wants to make thinkers out of us! Imagination is what games are all about anyway, right?

They're finally giving gamers freedom...something we didn't even know we wanted!

If anyone has played Tori Emaki, you know what I'm talking about. It was fun and interesting. I can't wait to play flOwer!
