I really hope that is native 720p & not up-scaled .

Also it's a shame about the online trophies, I think the system in COD4 worked well, with all the achievements offline & a separate online levelling system.

I believe GG stated some time ago, 720p @ 30fps (locked).

3.4 - Yeah, they talked about why it's 720p.

And the big reason is that its Deferred Rendering Engine requires a 32MB Frame Buffer. Technophiles will notice that this is the same size as a 1080p Frame Buffer done with Forward Rendering Engines (all other games).

In addition to this, there's a separate Forward Rendering Engine running at the same time, so that's an additional 13MB for that 720p frame buffer. The results of both engines are composited in real time in order to get this:

Is one of the most important questions that EVERYONE hasn't bothered asking yet!!!

By the way, it would be REALLY nice to know whether they'll have an official playlist for people to rank up OFFICIALLY. Or will it just all be personally hosted servers with customized setttings?

It would be nice to have both like Resistance. COD4 would have been nice if they had displayed private servers instead of making them invite-only.

I'm really happy about being able to put bots in the online play. When you start a clan and you want practice nights and you don't have 32 clan members to do 16vs16. You can do 16vs. bots. I can't wait.

I learned some things I didn't know about the game.

There were a couple questions that I thought were pretty dumb, but overall it was very informative.

And yes, I'm definitely interested in this game. The multiplayer looks somewhat refreshing and I'm trying to stay in the dark so that I can enjoy singleplayer more. I'll play it before I buy it, though, like all titles that I purchase at full price. I need more monies for all the damn games this fall. Next year is going to be even worse on my wallet.

And I'm looking forward to 2009 on both the PS3 and my Wii. I can't say my 360 will get much play time. 360 doesn't have a whole lot I'm interested in for 2009 (Star Ocean 4 and uhh... probably some other JRPG's), or at least I don't think they've announced much exclusive stuff. I hate paying for Live when I have PSN free.

Got off on a tangent there, but Killzone 2 is looking f'ing good so far.
