this is great news as long as they are even half decent, I remember playing counter strike against bots for many hours when I didnt have any connection and they were pretty good, sometimes a bit too good but always good fun.

this will be great for practice! I really wished for Warhawk to have bots too! I hate the fact that I learned Warhawk and how to actually 'play'(surviving) in Warhawk the hard way! those experts in Warhawk are one hell of unforgiving cold-blooded demons! I was seriuosly considering to stop playing after only several sessions, where I was pwned to extinction in every session! I was thinking, how the hell do a private soldier with a hand gun going head-to-head with a fvking warfighter that actually stalking you like a GPS satellite?? ahh...how I love to do exactly just that right now!(^3^)

back to the topic, KZ2 will be awesome and I'm looking forward to play it comes february 09!

I love bots. Bot rock. Especially with this level of AI.

I always wanted bots in Halo, but it never delivered. I guess the AI was to stupid, they are pretty simple creatures.

Out of all the good things I've heard about this game, this is the best thing yet.

The only thing that remotely makes up for the terrible singleplayer is the ability to play through it with 3 of your friends, all drunk off your asses, and the ability to go online with the same 3 friends directly thereafter to get owned by some 12 year olds screaming expletives.

COD4 splitscreen was awesome, the only thing lacking was bots!!

Killzone 1's bots were pretty good. They actually adapted to your strategies. Sometimes I thought they were real people.

Anyways, hopefully Killzone 2 has 4 player splitscreen offline. Better yet, 4 player splitscreen online would totally own any other game out there.

Hey, I'm a KZ_VIP over at the PS3 forums and Killzone.com so hopefully I can help you out a bit. ;)

-There will be no co-op shipping with the game on release but probably it will be added later. It is said that Guerrilla are "big fans" of co-op and it was featured in Killzone: Liberation.
-I believe there will be split-screen (only offline though) and I doubt it'll be 4 player, probably only 2.
-DLC has already been confirmed by the QA Manager, Seb Downey. Hopefully it'll be free like the free episodic content they did with Killzone: Liberation, but not sure on that yet.

If anyone has any questions you can ask over at the PS3 forums or over at Killzone.com, Seb Downey (motherh) posts at both fairly often. You can also ask him questions directly at Killzone.com in the "Ask a Dev" thread. He's off at Leipzig though at the moment so you'll have to give him some time if you wanna get a hold of him. ;)

That there's no real reason for Valve to keep on dismissing the PS3 as a platform due to the increasing audience, told people to stop wasting money on XBL and called someone an idiot when they said;
"It must suck to own one console."

Which I counted as an insult as I already have PS3 and 360 but find the 360 is overhyped, needs too much attention, has no games which can't be ported to PS3 and the PS3 always gets knocked down for no apparent reason, MS aren't the angels everyone thinks they are, because I remembered last gen.

Luckily, I only got banned off a while just for the fact I called him "an idiot" even though many 360 fanboys can get away with calling us "f@gs" in the Open Zone numberous times.

Ahh, its like AA here, everyone sit in a circle...

But the money saved from playing online for free can be used for other things, like games and more games that are free to play online, like this!
In the long run a PS3 user has a lot more saved cash in a matter of months than 360 users that use 'Live.
