Warhawk: Operation: Fallen Star New Video and Release Date

PS3 Fanboy writes: "The third expansion pack for the PSN-exclusive Warhawk is coming by month's end. Operation Fallen Star introduces Tau Crater, a remote, forested level that is the site of a crashed Chernovan warship containing experimental technology. This new pack adds the Infrantry Jetpack and ten new battlefields, most likely variations of the Tau Crater level. Of course, a free summer update will add a few new features, not forgetting Trophies".

I know... I know... but this game just doesn't quit. Their booster packs go above and beyond the norm.

Every single pack is pure insane, innovative fun and now this?! Jet packs!?!

This game has grown into something truly unique and special, and I almost feel that it's a shame that it didn't and still does not get the recognition it deserves.

Don't know if I will get it. I got all booster packs but all the booster pack crew want to play is CTF. It really sucks to not be able to play anything but CTF, especially when new game modes come out and 2 days later everybody's back on CTF.

the best i do not know. I kinda wish the ground 3rd person wasnt so "lock on"y more skill to actually kill someone, then they could boost up the damage of the weapons... something closer but not exactly like SOCOM's 3rd person (that is SOCOM 1 - 3)

Looks like ruddy good fun, perhaps a bit too chaotic for my taste but still fun. Hopefully they'll put up some Zones-only EU servers that'll be full of players.

well yeah, sort of...I didn't expect them to be only hover capable...which may not be the case...the video doesn't show enough of the packs to really be sure...but from what is shown, it looks like you can hover around similar to the Warhawk in 'hover' mode...but you can't zip around while laying flat...

maybe you can though...would be cool if you could do that, and not use any weapons at that time...

either way though...can't wait to splat guys floating in the air with the nose of a warhawk/nemesis...which was more or less confirmed of being a way to die by the trophy list...

this is easily the most supported online game of this generation so far...5 feature full updates for free...this will be the 3rd expansion also...bringing the game to just over $60 total if you purchased the 'core' game online last year August...

still has several hundred running high speed dedicated servers...the stat tracking has been perfect since last October...there will now be 8 full 'worlds' available with nearly 50 individual map layouts...6 vehicle types, not including mounted turrets...with 6 completely different game modes...

awesome game...I loved it when it released, let alone with collection being one of the most fun competitive warfare based game modes I have ever played...

Yeah, that's exactly kind of what I was expecting. The Rocketeer had a jet/rocket pak. James Bond had a hover pack. Big difference, these are hover packs, not jet/rocket packs and anyone who disagreed with me is a stupid Anal leak.

I love Warhawk, probably the best online game ever made, but these are not jet paks, sorry. The new level looks sharp, though. I just wish more people weren't so cheap and hated to let go of a few bucks so we can all enjoy them.

I swear gamers are the cheapest idiots on the planet. they can squeeze a quarter so tight the eagle would scream. Gamers steal everything from music to movies and then the stuff they do buy is always used or at discount.

I love this game more than anything. Everything else has come and gone and I still play Warhawk every f'ing night. Most underrated game ever. All the anti-Sony hype from last year kinda buried this game, but there is a huge underground community supporting it. Easily one of the best games I've played in years.
