1 - pes 2008 all over again
looks very very similar to 08. Ball control/player movement seems more fluid but saying that my major problem with 08 was online lag and replay lag. Hope this has been seem to.

While it was a 'blip' PES 08 was still the best football game on the market.

Fifa's sluggy controls and poor shooting system will always keep FIFA behind PES, no matter how many pointless Features EA put on the game to try and hide its main flaw at its core gameplay

The lag pisses me off the online is a mess and yet I find myself still playing it everyday. Pes can have an off year and still be better than fifa.

5 - yo check out the fifa 09 clip
holy crap. fifa looks real good and responsive. i was never a fan of fifa but it seems ill be happy this october. if pes doesnt get a US release in october, they will surely loose out on the american market. cuz if fifa is real good this time around. i might just settle with fifa.

i completely agree if your talking gameplay wise.
Anybody who plays soccer in real life would most likely agree. Fifa feels weird, like your movement is restricted and the through passes are just horrible. PES feels more responsive and you can actually carry out your strategy where as in Fifa the AI does what it wants.

If only you could take the gameplay from PES and everything else from Fifa it would an amazing soccer game.
I really want an indoor field, havent had a indoor soccer field since fifa 98. They should include a 7 vs 7 for indoors.

I feel like playing soccer again I havent played in 3 weeks, just been able to walk without crutches since yesterday :(

i used to be a die hard pes fan,ive been playing it since ps1 but after pes 2008 i was a bit let down.....im still gonna give this one a chance but i see my self chooseing fifa 09 over pes09......yh i know pes 08 has better gameplay than fifa 08 but the graphics,ball control,skills is nothing compared to fifa 08.

10 - Great but WHAT THE HELL
Whoever is playing the game should be shot, she/he was Poor and proberlly a Fifa player,

They could not play Pes at all, you can tell the way they played, like run and pass to a player who is marked seems very ''Fifa Style'' if you get what i mean.

It would be 10 times better if we actully had proper pro evo players and actully see some shots not some fifa guys embarrising the game.

Fifa trailers look good as always but the gameplay is just the same, fifa gameplay has never changed, it looks the same from 04, 05, 06 07, 08 . it looks the same.

Ea talk about 300 key improvments but i dont think so, ''Players fall over more Realistic''/
who is going to notice how a player falls over after getting tackled while playing a game.

i think if you are a true football/soccer fan, and play it. then we all know PES gameplay is and allways be ahead of fifa.
