Mad Catz Making Official Street Fighter IV Controllers

Kotaku writes, "Typically when a Mad Catz controller press release crosses my desk I don't spend much time worrying over it. But this, this is much different. Mad Catz today announced that they've secured the license to make controllers and accessories for a number of Capcom games including Bionic Commando, Resident Evil 5 and (gasp) Street Fighter IV."

I hope they only make controllers, not the official street fighter 4 joystick. They should let tatio make the sticks using vewlix panels. :)

I REALLY hope that by 'controllers' they don't mean that Mad Catz is going to be making the arcade sticks for the console versions. The fact that they don't specifically mention arcade sticks gives me some hope... but it is worrying news. I certainly won't buy a f*cking Mad Catz arcade stick.
