By the way, some people, like me, got my PS3 used from Gamestop or somewhere and thus never got a manual for it (just a paper telling how to hook it up). There are online manuals, but still...

Ummm...yeah the ps3 does not have a manual that explains all the ps3 features...and to be honest, this website does not really do any better.

Anyhoo.....I think they do not highlight the slide show with music feature enough......I was blown away with the feature, and actually used it to make a slide show of wedding photos.....and everybody loved it.

The headline should've been "Ten Reasons Your PlayStation 3 Should Be Doing MORE Than Just Play Games". Would've been a much better title.

EDIT: Or better yet, how about the headline that showed up on the top picture there (on the Flash movie): "Ten Other Uses Of The Playstation 3". That could've also been (legally, since it IS used as a headline on that site, basically the article has two headlines) used here.

NotAshley, I could suggest changing the headline to that other one they used for it. I don't think there's any rule stopping you from doing that.

EDIT@11: WTF?!! Don't get the logic in THAT rule! Should be a rule that needs to be changed (in case the author of the story updates the story in some way).

Someone (me) thought it was worth pointing out ten of the extra features that you get when you shell out a considerably large amount of money for a console.

It's justification or a purchase already made, hopefully adding a little extra to peoples usage of their choice console. I'm not biased, crazy, or touting propaganda.

When my computer broke down some time ago, the PS3 was a life-saver for me on that regard. It's not the most important feature in the world, but it's pretty cool to have there. Why does it HURT anything? (By the way, I have my comp again).

Well, I didn't know the PS Eye could be used as a PS3 webcam, for one. And the Play TV stuff is pretty new, since the device is young (it's got me now interested to learn more about that thing), and some people are still discovering the PS3/PSP connectivity stuff.

Wow, here you go again! Trying to tell everyone that there is some conspiracy going around when these pro-PS3 articles come around and they get defended. Suddenly the "SDF/Sony Protection Group" (or whatever other name you want to give them THIS time). Have you ever once thought that maybe the reason why these articles get defended is because they are TRUE, and that there are just that many people who are agreeing with the article and find the article useful (especially when considering which console to buy), and just disagree with people like you that add nothing new to the conversation other than "OMG, PRO-PS3 ARTICLES CAN'T BE!!"? The reason why you're finding it tough to defend that conspiracy theory is because there IS no conspiracy. There's just alot of people that have been enjoying the PS3 as of late and really hate comments like yours that continue to hang onto any logic you can and then when so many people call your bluff, you suddenly go "OMG, this must be every PS3 fanboy ganging up and working together". You realize there are also 360 owners who are sick to death of all the shortcomings of MS's console?

Also, like I said before, Bloodmask, who usually posts pro-MS articles (nothing wrong with that as long as you're fair), approved this story, too. So is HE a part of the SDF or whatever now, too? Be advised at who DID approve this story before making assumptions.

And, if it was so worthless, why did you feel SO compelled to respond to it to tell us that? Keep in mind that there is STILL only two reports to this story: Yours and the Caps Lock guy up there.

It has to be a conspiracy against the 360. It couldn't possibly be the fact that the 360 is a crap piece of hardware, built with a shortsighted gaming vision that looks out no farther than a year.

When this generation was preparing to launch, the main thrust of the MS marketing was "We are going to beat them to the street. That is how we will win."

Sony said, "Go ahead. Go first. Rush. We will win with a superior gaming experience, a long term vision and an adaptable hardware with technology engineered for tomorrow. It may take some time to institute out vision of great gaming but we are coming as sure as tomorrow."

In the case of the 360, the PS3 is coming as sure as death. Why is anyone surprised that the MS shake and bake solution wasn't built to last and only untold amounts of money thrown at 3rd parties has allowed them to survive this long.

Face it. THE 360 IS RETARDING PROGRESS AND THE GAMING EXPERIENCE BY HOLDING THE ENTIRE INDUSTRY BACK WITH IT'S OUTDATED HARDWARE AND IGNORANT SHORT TERM VISION.
