dont mean to sound fanboyish but DANG graphically there is no comparisson on any console this is a must have game for graphic whores
ingame voice effects are insanly clear,truly feel your in a battle,after seeing that video this is my MOST WANTED game

It actually amazes me somewhat how the general attitude toward Killzone 2 has taken a giant turn for the better over these past two months or so. I do believe that shift will also occur towards the PS3 itself as a console by the end of this year.

Killzone 2 seriously cannot come soon enough. I better enjoy COD4 while I still WANT to.

I like the way that that map lays out. It's not run and gun at all if you step out into the open without inflicting heavy casualties first you will be killed.

Return to Castle Wolfenstein MP was the first multiplayer game to have airstrikes that i ever played...

and that was 2001 by the way...and I am not talking about mods, Quake II had a rocket 'airstrike' mod at one point, that was nothing but a cheap powerup that blanketed your targeted area with rockets fired directly from above...but RTCW was the first fps with them implemented properly into the game...where they in any games before that?...I can't remember...

I am a bit of a Sony fan myself but the 360 kids will have Gears 2, Left 4 Dead and all 3rd party games that we get COD, Far Cry 2, Project Origin etc..

Socom and R2 vs. Gears 2 and L4D. I would go with the Sony side just because of the size of the two titles multi-player 8 co-op and 60 online vs. 2 co-op 12 online and 32 multi vs 4 co-op. L4D and Gears win on Story, considering Socom doesn't have one it is hard to argue.

People are still underestimating SOCOM and they are in for a rude surprise. On the PS2, SOCOM singlehandedly stomped Xbox Live numbers. I still game SOCOM II and III (works with CA) on the PS3 and tons of people online are just waiting for SOCOM Confrontation to release so they can get a PS3.

I totally agree with you, I played Socom online for 3 years without interuption and to alot of Socom players there simply is no other game out there period. They just don't play anything else, so when the new SOCOM comes out it will be a huge boost in the USA.

I've been playing socom since the first one came out!! Socom II I don't think I can ever put down, but how many people especially when socom II first came out, were online. A lot and I think a lot of people are ignoring this game which is a big no no.
