Flower… most emotional game made

TalkPlayStation.com writes:"David Jaffe, the man behind the God of War and Twisted Metal series got to play That Game Company's newest game FLOWER when he was in Santa Monica last week. Jaffe liked it a lot more than flOw which he appreciated but never really liked. He thinks FLOWER is on its way to becoming a classic. He mentions that the game is fun and in his mind it lives or dies by the metions it creates while you play."

comes down to how much the game costs. That's going to be a really hard price point to get right for the developers.

That's correct it is a PSN title. Though looking at the visuals, depending on the "size" of this game I wouldnt be surprised to see it also avaliable on BR disc.

I hope so anyway, I like the choice and frankly, I like having the case to make my collection look bigger ;)

This is a great looking game... It seems only Sony are pushing for new imaginative style games where everyone else is happy sticking with Mario or FPS.. I am very impressed.

"That Game Company" deserve your praise not Sony. Admittedly Sony took the "risk" to give them the chance but they didn't come up with the concept or idea.

But Sony have always strived for diversity on their systems, the PS3 is going to be no different.

The developer described as a poem. Poetry can hit whole ranges of emotion without a story, or even a real point. Plus given what passes for a story in most video games, it probably wouldn't be to hard to hit more emotions than them.

Also environment has one of the greatest effects on emotion, if done correctly.

It is indeed almost like a continuation of the game fl0w, and they hinted off that in one of the trailers when it showed flow at the end of it and it added "er" to the title a few seconds later.

Actually it is fl0wer, if you create a jp user account on the ps3, go to the jp psn store and download the trailer, the title of the trailer movie will read the name as "flOwer"

10 - I mean this is why I love the playstation brand...

I will admit that I do side with a system over others even though I do own all of them but I do have a reason and one of the biggest reasons I do love sony for is the way these guys just go out and ask different devs for something new to create even if it isnt what most gamers are looking for. They are so diverse with the games they have in there library compared to the other 2 company's. Flower is a good example of the diversity sony will risk to bring to there consumers. This is something u will never see microsoft do and is a big reason I think has been a success for all playstation platforms from the ps1 to the ps2 and now u are seeing it on the ps3 with just how much diversity the ps3 software is. This game looks to be pretty cool, and these words coming from david jaffe must mean this game is special. Definately looking out for this game.

is seeing some amazing software. I had no idea that Pixel Junk Eden would be such an amazing game. It looked unique and interesting the gameplay is flawless. I'm guessing that Flower will deliver as well. I'm really proud to be a PS3 owner.
