To blame developers for everything having to do with Trophies, Sony barely put the feature out there to compete with the advantages of Achievements. And lateness is their fault, not the developers.

I can live without this game having trophy support. As long as the gameplay is good, it doesn't bother me.

Most of Sony's first party titles will have it, so...yeah.

I think the devs dosn't understand how much of an impact trophies has on a game. Trophies are more often than you'd think the make or break factor when buying an game.

If I was an developer I would definetly do trophies mainly because having them re-created in 3D in a 40 million dollar game by the name of HOME would be incredible.

got the core demo on this and its crud pretty enough but the combat sucks. hate the way they set up the controller and in this day and age no online on a fighting games a joke.

I hate it when people say that devs are lazy. Come on, it took Warhawk what feels like 1-2 months for it to be getting trophies and its a 1st party title. So obviously it isnt as easy as just flipping a switch. Then on top of that how many games have in-game music. Uncharted doesn't even have it.
Just have a little respect, devs put a lot of time into there games and for you to criticize them just because they didnt add a feature that sony snuck in without any devs knowing is just stupid.

I dont thik it matters, because the updae came out last month, and naruto does not come out till october. I mean they have allot of time to add trophies from now to oct.. They can release a patch on day one if they wanted to.

Apparently it has bacame mandatory. So expect all games that started development in the last couple of months (not years) too have trophy's from now on.

Unless your an achievement whore. I still think it's brilliant however. It's a natural human quality to want to finish something, and be compelled to accomplish. Even though I don't care much for achievements, I find myself trying a little harder and playing a little longer just for that "reward". It's proof, the feature is a success, whether anyone wants it or not.

Well ape007 Trophies does still have an greater inpact on players than Acheivements do.

if you get 300 gamescore and you already have 17000 gamescore what's the difference?

If you get an platinum Trophie and your level get's boosted from lvl 8 to lvl 13 then yeah it feels like you've acomplished something. On top of that you can show it off in Home to friends and that's also an prestigue.

Alright first of all--I dont know if you've gotten a platinum trophy yet but I have one and i was at level 4 when i got it and it put ~15% more xp on my xp-bar. So im pretty sure your not going to be jumping from level 8 - level 13. Then most 360 owner don't get achievements just for completion's sake, they get it because they want to better their friends in points. I can tell you, while my friends won't buy avatar:the game for achievements, they will buy games that are fun and cool them to get those extra 300 points to beat there friends.

How every game you're playing on xbox built its fame on ps3 (besides halo and gears). At least playstation can play movies. Tell me.........how much did microsoft charge you extra for that?
