Instead the PS3 version will have the gamer install it for 15-20 minutes in order to avoid extreme load times. As with most other PS3 games it probably won't have trophy support either.

The 360 will let you transfer the other disc(s) to the HDD(and cut load times by 30%). As with all 360 games it will have achievements.

Wouldn't be too surprising if the 360 version looks and runs better as well.

The last time I checked, installs didn't take the entire day. And you are not Nostradamus so don't start predicting this game won't have trophy support. -.-

wont it take time to transfer the disc to the hdd and if its on multiple discs woodn you have to do it with every disc.... and it was said that u have to have the actual game disc in when playing it off the hdd you will probably have to keep changing discs anyway

You will only need to have one of the discs in the tray. The rest can be run from the HDD. Awesome, isn't it? =)

omg trophies this game will be atleast 20-30 hrs long trophies dont really matter i dont really care about trophies or achievments their basically extras they dont do anything if they could be used to buy stuff from the store/marketplace than it would matter but atm their just numbers.... but most new games will have trophies and will be in 3d will achievments be in 3d(lol 3d numbers)...

We've only had Trophy support for a short amount of time. This game won't come out until '09. That gives SE plenty of time to work on trophies.

Jenzo is right , if you like JRPG , then the xbox360 is a must buy for them
I know PS2 was a great system with hundreds of JRPG but, you know times change

i remember there were a lot of complaints coming from devs about UE & ps3. Epic had to send devs to help but I doubt they would come to japan + language barrier so it would take more time to complete.

The last time I checked, this was a Square Enix game and Square should be honest with Sony on the release date, especially when Sony saved their asses when they were in debt.

That's how I feel about it. While Square holds no allegiance to anyone, I find it unfair that they're going to release this game as a timed exclusive for the PS3, and even worse, hold back the PS3 version of FFXIII while the 360 version gets done so they can be released in the U.S simultaneously.

I'm sorry but Sony better get started on 1st party rpg's because this is starting to piss me off.

There's an article with negative PS3 news. And suprise suprise our favorite troll pog/marty decided to enlighten us with his profound knowledge. Of course, the irony forgotten in this situation is despite a bricked system, no games, and a slow optical drive, they STILL outsold your "precious" 5 of the 7 months this year (NPD data) in the the states and have outsold MS by over 2 million units worldwide since december 2007. If the PS3 is pathetic, what's that say about the 360?

"Overall the PS3 experience is best for only blu-ray movies." I Agree, The ps3 does have the best bluray experience. 9X better then any DVD ive watched i think.
