Warhawk v1.5 Update "Free Never Gets old!"

Playstation Blog writes:
"We just released our v1.4 Update a month ago and we're ready to upgrade our players to the latest version–Warhawk v1.5 which is tentatively scheduled for release on August 27th. We're currently in the final phase of global Sony certification testing and all is looking good so far!"

So many great additions to the game in 1.5

I can't name my favorite. The Trophies will be a great addition to my profile, custom soundtracks will make the game a hell lot better to play, and the tutorials will perfect my skills, more importantly my flying skills.

Did anyone notice the hint for the new booster pack. He says "you can easily bail out". Think he is referring to bailing out of warhawks so that means we can bail out of warhawks in midair with jetpacks :o :o :o

for this game is soo good !
There is like no other game i can think of that gets this kind of support (except Burnout), jst keeps making the purchase worth it.

Cant wait for custom soundtracks and trophies ! Hopefully other Devs take note and start supporting their games even half as good as warhawk.

I saw this advertised this weekend for $24.99!

This should get more people playing - this is truly a great online game. It would be cool though if a 360 version was available where online play was PS3 vs. 360. Of course this is a first party title so that will never happen, but it would be cool.

My first online game was diablo II (but I mostly played lan)
I played counter strike source for ages and ages, and I thought _that_ was a fun game. Warhawk truly is the best online game I have played. I just love the deep strategy to it. The graphics are pretty bad (the trees! ugh!), the learning curve is steep but when you get into it it really is extremely fun.

There are just so many ways you can take lots of people out, and whereas in other games you would get kicked possibly for camping with a sniper every round, in warhawk that's a part of the game. So is hiding out with binoculars, or waiting with a TOW missile until someone picks up the flag. Or laying mines in creative places. But there's a way to counteract everything you could do, so the strategy really does become deep. Who'd have thought that in a CTF game where you can't fly whilst carrying or returning the flag, taking control of the skies would be the most important thing to do?

I hate sitting there waiting to land, while the person flying jst dies.
just after he was talking about the booster packs he said

"With one of these equipped, a soldier can escape quickly…even bail out if needed!"

which basically confirms we can now jump out of a warhawk !! wwooo, that will be so good! especially if we can fly around afterwards lol.

It's not that hard (well it's only a bronze trophy anyway). Just aim slightly above the warhawk I find is best and try and predict which direction they will move. Of course, if you see a warhawk attacking someone else on the ground it should be easy, they're not trying to dodge your shots :)
