Socom Confrontation PS3 Beta started already? Indeed it has

MaxConsole writes: "Darkjaksrevenge dropped in to let us know that there are a number of gamers getting into the Socom Beta as of now. The admins of the Playstation forum have received beta access and some of the MVP's although one of the threads has been taken down. However, the ID's that have definitely got in are Patriot24, CronoEX and BEMO-844. You can view two additional confirmation pictures at ImageShack."

4 - EU beta?
Hope it comes out in the UK, I've never played them before but would like a taste before I can say yes I definitely want it. I'm about 80% certain to get the headset version, but I'd like to be 95% certain before I commit my cash to this.

It is the closed beta. It is obvious that it has already started since they are moving on to the open beta.

The open beta starts Sept 1st if you preorder. The closed beta was picked by Slant Six devs off of the PSU boards.

Ya I know, but that is just part of the open beta. It is just that the Qore people get in a week later.

The closed beta is what is in the pic. Those people were selected from the PSU boards.

these arent just random people in the beta, they got early access because they work for Sony (the MVPs dont, but early access is probably a gift for being such good people)

I think on the blog they said that those who preorder the game can start joining the beta as of this week. So i think it started. Hopefully the Qore beta will open up soon, followed by the resistance one =D

I NEED THIS NOW!! I bought the Qore beta, but I am going to pre-order so I can start on Aug 1st!!!

I hope it returns to the glory days of Socom 2!!!

I loved that game so much I bought the PS2 hard drive for the 3 extra levels!
