2 - Anyone know
I want to get in the beta, but I want to get the downloadable version of the game, so there really isn't any need for me to pre-order the game at gamestop. So I know this sounds stupid, but can I pre-order the downloadable version since pre-ordering lets you into the beta?

Why not just pre-order and get the disc? Not saying you should...but just wondering. Anyways........I am excited about the price structuring......not that I use my blue tooth headset since they became rather inexpensive...and everybody and their grandmother now have one..........but I like that for the regular price of any other game you can get the headset......or you can go without for $20 cheaper.

Truthfully I want the downloadable version so that I can be lazy and not have to get up to change the disc whenever I want to play SOCOM. I bought the disc for Warhawk and I've regretted it ever since I saw my brother just jump into Warhawk without having to move off after playing a disk game. So all in all, just ease of use is why I want the downloadable version.

that makes a lot of sense.........Hahah, if I decide against the headset...I think I might just take that same route. Brilliant! Instead of saying lazy.....lets stick with ease of use.....or convenience factor.

Well this makes me pissed off that I bought that stupid core episode. Oh well, I am preordering and getting it day 1. SO EXCITED. Hopefully its more like the AMAZING socom 1 and 2, not socom crap 3 and whatever that 4th one was.
