Driver Coming to PSN

Driver for the original PlayStation was a huge hit on the original PlayStation® and remains a classic. Soon you can relive those gaming memories, or enjoy it for the first time, on PSN for PlayStation®3.

Driver puts you in the driving shoes of Tanner, an undercover cop tasked with infiltrating an illegal syndicate through his impressive driving skills in a variety of cities across the globe.

Developed by Ubisoft Reflections, Driver is due for release on PSN on August 14th for €4.99. Keep an eye out for it!

never played drive one, i dont think anyways, but i dont think u could get out of your car on it, i wish they would release driver 2 on PSN, i loved that game.

1.2 - Am I the only one who thinks Driver 2 was horrible?
The car handling was worse, the lighting was worse, and they split gameplay up between what was awesome about the original Driver (uh, driving) and some crappy TPS-ing. Driver has always been one of my favorite PS1 games; Driver 2 has always been one of the biggest disappointments.

Driver was great.

Yeah, you couldn't get out of the car but it was still great. Plus the fact that its coming next week is a great bonus.

IMO, it's nothing on Driver 2 but it is a great game (Beats Driv3r anyways by a country mile xD)

2.1 - I thought it was great when i played it ages ago...
... but then i took it for a spin about a month ago and it was horrible. When you drive too close to people they run through a wall to get away. Actually that was quite funny.

Hopefully its coming out in the US also, because it says €4.99, so im not sure if its coming to the US next week, if not ill be busy playing Bionic Commando Rearmed!

All I did in this game was Take A Ride mode through miami and frisco. Way too much fun. i always said nothing would be better than putting that mode online with multi-player as a cops and robbers tag kind of game. will definitely be picking this one up.

Wow thats another good week. We're getting Bionic Commando Rearmed and this classic that day. I don't know about you guys but the PSN has been on fire lately.

Nohing ages faster or worse than 3-d car games on the ps1. I often equate playing some of them with David Bowie's "Loneliest guy" song and it's a sad feeling. You can pretty much bet your coat racks that no one is playing the exact same game when you pop in classics like Driver and Test Drive for the ps1.

Croc is another game that is highly depressing. I remember one time I was seeing this girl and we broke up for some reason or another, this is waaaaaaaaaaaay back in like 2002 or maybe 2000... either way, doesn't matter.

We broke up. Anyways, I was bored one night and I started going through like boxes and stuff and I came across a demo from "funcoland" which none of you probably no what that was, and the demo for Croc was in it. I played it and to this day, that was as low as I've sank in society. I felt as if no one knew what I was going through playing this abomination. I felt as if breaking up with ol' girl was bad, but croc had amplified the situation 10x's over.

Everytime I feel down, I always think back to good ol' ps1 days and instantly feel better. Nothing says dead end and going nowhere than playing 2 generation old 3-d software. Needless to say, it hasn't aged well.

What was all this for? Well, I was just bored... better go play croc

got a wierd story how i got driver....ok i was in an Airforce P/X was goin to japan...so i looked around the ps1 games they where selling and i bought resident evil :nemesis...so i open the game inside the plane on my way to japan...when i saw the game inside was Driver!!!!! not RE:Nemesis i was a bit pissed bcuz i nver heard this game before but me and my roommate played the hell out of this game it was fun as hell...
