1 - Does anyone see a pattern forming?

No, not fanboyism, but it seems that sony is making Japan it's priority. I think they finally realize there going to lose the other countries such as the U.S, Canada, Australia, etc...to the Xbox 360 and the Wii, and only have a strong fan base in Japan. if sony can eventually dominate japan, then they can stay alfoat else where.

Blue Dragon is the dominate game currently in japan, but I'm sure sony will have some wierd Japanese killer apps. for Japan in the coming months and maybe create a foothold, but maybe not. MS and Nintendo are doing hella fine as of now as well.

The next 5 to 6 months will be a very sticky time for sony and the ps3. If they don't succeed on some level, there not going to be around in 2008 as a gaming platform.

who says Sony is losin U.S and Canada, just so u know, it have been sold more units in the u.s than japan and sony is shippin more units 2 the u.s than japan... in which site do u find all this bullshit news?? must be msn.com??
