there's more DLC... read the news stories about the content creator that is DLC as well besides the song... ridiculous that they're trying to make dividends within the same week as the game release

It IS on the retail disk, alas as unlockable stuff via a small license file/unlock code...

Don't you just LOVE it when devs sell you their already included crap twice?

In the past DLC was an additional fanservice, developed AFTER the game release and offered for free, or even for a small fee. Today DLC is content that is CUT from the already finished game to be sold as soon as the game releases to grab more cash that you actually deserve...

Pixeljunk Eden is out now. I NEED this game. I just left the building in which my beloved console resides. I was checking every ten minutes (or even more frequently) to see if it was up. Now it is and I have to wait until tomorrow morning. Don't worry, my precious Eden, you'll flourish soon enough! :(

This story is a duplicate and i've seen this being posted up all day. Yeah pixeljunk eden is out and it's a good game and all but i'm not getting it. There are better games out there that i've been waiting for. Games that have action and excitement like killzone 2.

My bad. I forgot to put "/s" after the Sony lie line. Anyways thanks for answering my question Orange. I was just curious if it was in this update because I happen to really like news and weather stuff. I guess this means it will be in an upcoming firmware update.

Can't wait to buy Eden BTW. Game on!

Both MS and Ninty could learn from the quality downloads Sony is bringing. From Warhawk, to Pixel Junk, to Fat Princess, to Socom. Sony is blowing the downloadable games out of the water. I am in love with Eden now. Just got done obsessing over Pixel Junk Monsters.

Didn't Geometry Wars 2 just come out for them on Wed. I would call that quality and it is scoring 9's across the board. I am not a fanboy of either system but I think Microsoft has proven that they deliver quality games on their arcade all the time.

Why cant you just enjoy the update and stay away from comparisons that invite a fanboy war? If you can't resist at least do it in the Open Zone.

21 - Correct me if I'm wrong...
but when I played the Madden demo it was outputting at 720p...I thought there was supposed to be parity between the 360 and PS3 this year. If I'm missing something, let me know here, but I have a feeling I'm not. I'd love to update to a new HDTV that supported 720 but I just don't have the dough right now, and games that are 1080 still look great on my good ol' CRT HDTV. There aren't any more excuses, practically any developer big or small should have their head wrapped around the PS3's architecture by now.

Screw EA.

I don't know so much about all 3rd party studios.... but most of them should, and 1st parties have no excuses anymore. By this point in the game they're already on 5th generation games for this console... Time to figure out how to utilize the Cell to its best ability
