SO having one notable game on the market means you have the best lineup. I will be gobsmacked if Resistance 2, LBP and Socom manage to sell more than Fable 2 and Gears combined or even just Gears 2 alone.

i agree with the ps3 line up being better. i am very excited about this years current line up. last years? not so much which is why i bought a 360 first at the beginning of 2007 then the ps3 at end of 2007.

this year? i dont have my 360 anymore but the only game i wish i had was left 4 dead. i know EA will eventually port it. but if its another crappy EA port i'd rather it stays a microsoft exclusive. gears is a great game/series but not great enough to make me forget mty ps3 titles....

I somewhat agree with Reeves. I don't think that either lineup is stellar, but I am so excited for LBP that I will just give the nod to Sony lol. I'm looking at LBP and Res 2 for my PS3 (and hopefully Tekken 6 + a lot of PSN games), and Fable 2 and Gears 2 for my 360. Cheers to not owning a Wii:)

Who has best gaming line-up is subjective, it all depends on the games you like to play.

For example last year. I thought X360 had a better line-up but I have a friend that preferred the PS3 line-up and neither one of us was correct.

and quite pointless. Everyone will say their console have the best line-up even though they are not buying every game that comes out.

All you have to do is post what your buying and we know what you think has the best line-up.

but I will say the Xbox 360 line-up is more diverse the end of the year, that's with multi-plat titles.

I really can't see a strong lineup from ms's point of view, i mean i really can't.

On ms coming over the next year:

Gears 2
Fable 2
Too human(if its any good)
Alan wake(although no one has seen this)

Ps3:
Killzone 2
Little Big planet
Heavy rain
New Ico
Resistance 2

I just find the current state of the console war funny. I remember last year how I was ridiculed by others for buying a ps3, mocked even!

But now it seems the sonys reign of supremacy is only about to begin.

the only games i know is gears 2, fable 2, and too human.. If you want to call that a line up of games than that sucks major balls... Not a lot of variety in that line up and only 2 of those games will be good..

This is the only game that Sony has exclusivity on that will force me to pick up a PS3.

When that happens, I can hopefully get all their "maybe I'll play this someday" games (R&C Future, Uncharted, Resistance 2) played as well (and for cheap).

Until then, Sony is blowing smoke.

now, what did we get for the PS3?

inFamous: gameplay video walkthrough. interviews - looked amazing.
Resistance 2: more info on gameplay, LOTS of interviews, some gameplay walkthroughs, and this week, Ted Price proving that that infamous San Francisco scene in the teaser trailer was actually IN GAME.
Killzone 2: LOTS of multi-player info and videos. plenty of interviews.
Fat Princess: interviews, videos, hands on impressions.
Ratchet and Clank Future: QFB - screens, videos, interviews
Pixel Junk Eden: screens, videos, interviews
Resistance: Retribution: screens, trailer, interviews, hands on reports

should i go on, or should i stop there?

well, i'll just go on then:

Little Big Planet: lots of cool videos and trailers, news on the beta
Crash Commandos: videos, screens, hands on impressions
MAG: more info on the online, an in game screen. interviews
flower: screens, videos, interviews, hands on impressions

and so much more.

E3 was all about Sony. why? because they actually HAD something to show that wasn't related to 3rd party multi-platform titles.

YES, Fallout 3, Resident Evil 5, and Prince of Persia look great. but YES, they are also coming to the Playstation 3.

Final Fantasy XIII for the PLAYSTATION 3 won't see the light of day until, at the LEAST, late 2009, Q1/Q2 2010...in JAPAN, let alone the US. the title is exclusive to the PS3 in Japan, and they won't even BEGIN developing the 360 version until the PS3 version is done.

the game won't appear on our shores (and our brothers in the UK), until at least late 2010, IF it releases in Japan before the end of 2009.

so, in the interim, while we ALL wait for FFXIII, WHAT is the 360 releasing that has some merit? have any of us even SEEN Alan Wake for the past few years? people talk plenty talk about Heavy Rain being absent for a while, but AW is in the same boat.

Playstation 3 fans KNOW what games to expect for the Playstation 3 from the end of this month, all the way until the end of Q2 2009, and we also have an idea of the titles that will release in Q3/Q4 2009, and into 2010. why? because we know that the over 30 first and second party studios Sony has in their employ are working away on quite a few PS3 exclusives, many of them can be easily speculated (ie, we KNOW Naughty Dog is working on Uncharted 2, but they've said on more than one occasion that they'd love to go back to Jak and Daxter on the PS3, using the Uncharted engine, just to see what it would be like).

Sony's Playstation 3 lineup, from this week, up until Q2 2009 is looking DAMN GOOD:

2008
Siren: Blood Curse
Pixel Junk Eden
Fat Princess
Ratchet and Clank: QFB
Little Big Planet
SOCOM: Confrontation

White Knight Story (slated to see release before the end of the fiscal year 2008, which is the end of March 2009. i'm assuming it's the Japanese version of the game)

Insomniac's next game (most likely Ratchet and Clank Future 2)

and any other surprises Sony decides to reveal at Leipzig and TGS this year. they certainly have enough studios to pull from for announcements.

with all that said, i can see why this guy would say they have a better lineup than the competition. from what we've seen of the competition, it's TRUE.

Well Duh.. PS3 games at E3 were all the buzz.. I mean LBP, Socom, KZ2, R2.. Those are just a few coming out.. Lets look at 360s (exclusives only).. Gears 2, then you have a huge drop off, banjo kazooie? Viva Pinta? which by all accounts created LITERALLY NO BUZZ at E3..

So yes PS3 has the best line up for the 2 years..
