WTF is Hardware? I knew it couldn't be anything "MAJOR" if Sony didn't announce it at E3 last week LOL. I'll wait for Leipzig and TGS for all the "MAJOR" announcements.

tgs or sonys japanese event, those are the places youll see new rpgs and seriously RPG and FPS have been ruled out since this rumor started. it was hinted as being "an action game with lots of violence and possibly military" that doesnt sound rpg'ish ;)

It does sound amazing, living city with fully destructible environments and limb chopping. 50 vs 50 with loads of vehicles with full customation. The perfect mix up !

1.15 - it reminds me of that old show on comedy central
I think it was called battle bots or something like that. Two teams each build their own destructive robot and battle them in a small arena...but after the screens for Hardware 1 (PS2) it looks a lot more like twisted metal.

Not interested in Twisted Metal and never heard of Hardware...
Even if this game turned out to be decent the hype was just all kind of a big let down... =/

Killzone 2, MAG, and inFamous killer... from the sound of it I'm worried if Playstationlifestyle can live up to the claim.

They are a great site though and I hope they are right.

The reason why this "Hardware 2" is so significant is because its a joint effort by Sony London Studios, Sony Liverpool studios, and incognito.

3 of Sony's top in house studios working together on a game. Thats amazing by itself.
But we have images to be shown on August 3rd. So keep watch.

Another shooter.... another online shooter... I am happy with warhawk ffs. NO ONE will be playing warhawk after all these hundreds of shooters come out so I won't be able to enjoy my favourite online game :( I thought this was going to be a new, original, genre breaking game. Guess I thought wrong.

This sounds Interesting. Honestly I'm just wanting to see RPG's and MMO's after this. All other genres are sewn up for the PS3's line-up.

Massive PS3 RPG's and MMORPG's are the only thing that can impress me now.

I have had it with FPS games, I was really hoping for some adventure games and rpgs, WRC Rally, more F1 games. I want Dark Cloud, Kingdom Hearts, Shadow of the Colossus, God of War, Twisted Metal, Wipeout, Final Fantasy. We have had none of those yet.

The concept name for this game is wierd but the game sounds like a Vehicle Combat game... the developer making this game should have left the vehicle combat to Eat, Sleep, Play because they are the ones coming out with Twisted Metal and Twisted Metal is the king of vehicle combat.

I'll definantly have to see who the developer is for this game before I start believing that this game might just actually be great.

Decapitation of Limbs or smashing people under buildings or just be a happy guy that runs over people for a living is something thats normal in Hardware 2 (concept name). You can look at it as the next gen Carmageddon meets Twisted metal. Did I mention that you will fight 50 vs 50 yet? You can even go beserk and do a deathmatch against 99 other players.
