Have another look at Killzone 2's multiplayer mode

PS3 Fanboy writes: "You can't really see it in our tiny screenshot above (you'll have to check out the high res version here), but this screenshot details one's personal dossier for the online mode of Killzone 2. It's looking like quite a comprehensive list as you can check out the ribbons and medals you've earned, your attained military rank, and your badge usage in addition to the traditional leaderboard rankings and total games played."

1.2 - KZ2 Looks amazing!
Very impressive stat tracking and options. Warhawk has some pretty good stat tracking but not near that many options. BTW warhawk remains to be my all time favorite online shooter untill R2 and KZ2 come out!

Why isn't it 16:9? If it's 16:9 and still looks like that im impressed. That's as in depth as a RPG. Who needs FFXIII when you have this!?

4 - Impressive
Is the only thing anyone can say about this game so far. There was a bunch of doubters (heck there still is) but they have to admit it IS looking good. Sure some people might say "need more gameplay footage to judge it" and that's understandable but i don't think anyone can say KZ2 isn't looking good and well fleshed out so far. I can't till they release the open beta for this game.

6 - I said it before and I'll say it again...
Even if the single-player campaign doesn't turn out to be anything special... the multiplayer is look absolutely fantastic! Seriously, I'm not even a big FPS fan and Gorilla has me in awe at what they're doing with this title. I love stat tracking and this is lookin' like a thing of beauty.

And still more than 6 months away? Who knows what more they might add... and the graphics are already second to none. They say towards the end of development is when they do all the polishing. I can't imagine what it's going to be like by then. Damn impressive is all I have to say.

Definitely agree with you. At first i was concerned about how the single player would be but after hearing about the multiplayer the single player has become a afterthought. I'm not into FPS's myself but Killzone 2 caught my eye at last years E3. I love how the online is looking like a refined mix of TF2 classes with CoD4 type customization. I heard they tuned down the A.I when they were showing it off at e3 and that was my only quibble with the game. Not any more. Killzone 2 is shaping up to be a flat out stellar game.

Yeah, I noticed that the enemies appeared a little dumb in some of the E3 footage. Or at least rather easy... but it makes sense that they'd tone it down for the event so that they could show everything off more easily. Heck, Ted Price almost died during his Resistance 2 demonstration. That would have been embarrassing! But even in the event that the A.I. isn't where it needs to be, they have so much time to work all of that out. Honestly, I didn't mind that some enemies weren't doing much just because those death animations blew me away!

That easy to tell, huh? My character name on MGO is even Nagano. So you MIGHT say I'm a fan. lol And man, now that I think about it... I've gotta create a Ninja Warrior level on LittleBigPlanet.

7 - is it just me
or does anyone think this game Multiplayer wise is gona be STUPID AMAZING i mean i was lookin at one of the shots and let me say first off the weapons look badass, and the event Tracker is Great being able to tell me when my nexts matches are cool , everything is on that stat tracker even an about me section, it kinda seems like myspace but in its own way suit'd for the game ( killspace ^_^) , everything just seems so elegant and nicely done, this could very well be the COD4 of 2008 and in all honestly can EASILY surpass it so well.... that killzone will create a name of its own and will be looked upon as a standard.

8 - These things are good..........
Halo3 has a massive stat system on Bungie.net that is scarily in-depth.

It shows you what % of kills you get with each weapon and also shows you the maps in a game and all its hot -spots!

If Killzone2 is anywhere near as good as Halo3's stat tracking then you guys are in for a treat.
