They didn't slow down development of this game but it was sped up. In a interview their recently Nomura said people from FF 13 when to the versus team.

wow i think i get it now...once a game is available for 360 it is no longer considered good ...you people are tool's unbelievable the funny thing about it is, If this game was announced for x360 what would u say ? you meant it was a teenage boy's game? ..Wat really pisses me off is how easily you can turn your back on something ..you guys aren't real fans just Bandwagon riders.... i cant wait for square to release these games if i am forced to purchase a ps3 then so be it. I was always looking forward to versus. Because I didn't like ff12, and it seems like 13 will have the same combat system. And I think it's great that FF13 goes multi platform, because then more people gets to play it. The more people that plays the same game, the more joy you can have about talking about it with other fans, friends and gamers.

I miss random encounters with lvls and some what of customizable skill and magic system. Square better make FFXIIII with random encounters, or then it's over for me as a FF fan

Well its not as if much of the game has been shown (not as much as FFXIII which has in-game stuff) At the moment IN MY OPINION, judging by the art direction (and developer Nomura - KH :D) I think it looks better then the flagship.

if youve got eyes and ears, its been UPLOADED BY A "USER" on gamtrailers and the sound qulity is too good for it to be live (on in the background or on the vid) while the video was recorded, maybe the "USER" put the music over the video after he got a hold of it.

Looks like one of our trailers just got leaked, it was meant ot be a suprise owell, yes this is what we are capable of on the Sony Playstation 3 using only a fraction of its power. Detail footage like this one take time but as described it a monster machine, hopefully if M$ dont bribe us we are hoping to keep this one exclusive to the PS3.
