Best-Selling PS3 Games

The NPD Group has released sales data for November 2006, and while the PlayStation 3 wasn't able to crack the overall top 20, it appears Resistance: Fall of Man had a high attach rate.

Resistance sold twice as much as the next best-selling title, Madden NFL 07. The ever-popular WWII setting allowed Call of Duty 3 to round out the top three.

Here are the top ten best-selling PlayStation 3 games for November 2006, as provided by the NPD Group:

1. Resistance: Fall of Man

2. Madden NFL 07

3. Call of Duty 3

4. Marvel: Ultimate Alliance

5. Ridge Racer 7

6. Need for Speed: Carbon

7. Tony Hawk's Project 8

and that's between the U.S., Canada and Japan, this is quite dismall to even mention. LOL.

I think they should of said to date, instead of a best sellers list, it should of been a sold amount list, as in R-FOM has sold 2,000 copies, COD3, 1347 copies, etc... you get the picture. You shouldn't try to brag on a best sellers list w/such a dismall display of copies sold to begin with. No, my numbers aren't real, that's a jk based on the sad attach rate of less than 1 sold per system. Although, It was quite dead on for the launch times.

Given it was the stand out title by most of the critics/reviewers...not to mention its a good game...I don't find it surprising that it was the leader by a long shot.

You call yourself a PC gamer, what OS do you use?If you were a man of conviction, you wouldn't use Windows.

Windows Vista will cost $100(basic-upgrade) - $400(Ultimate-Full).$500.00 is a lie. Get your facts straight. Where are the numbers to these "top best selling" games? Are they afraid to show the attach rate to the number of PS3's actually sold?

No one is forcing you to buy Vista, or Xp or Xbox or Zune. If you had any conviction, you wouldn't use them. Myself, I'm hoping MS delivers on the "Windows Live Anywhere" unification.

None of these games sold as much as Gears because there aren't enought PS3 owners to buy the copies. How biased can you get?

bottom-line: Everyone gets the word HAVE confused with the word OF on this website... (it's SHOULD HAVE...not should OF)

bottom-line 2: The 360 is a solid system with good games...but right now...it's still not worth 300-400. If you're a big enough Halo fan, sure...it'll be worth it for Halo 3...but GOW doesn't justify that right now.

Bottom-line 3: The PS3 DID have a bad launch. If it ultimately fails in the end...it will be because of bad publicity...and not because it's a bad system. So far, I see Heavenly Sword, Motorstorm, Lair, Killzone 2, DMC4, MGS4, and FFXIII justifying the cost...

#15 said the xbos360 is a solid console but not worth 300-400 dollars. well my friend the same can be said about the ps3, its a solid system but definitly not worth 500-600 dollars!! for me I would rather pay the 500-600 for the xbox than the ps3 right now!! because of live an the media center connection through my PC is awsome.plus the games right now are much better, im not even gonna say GOW because you know that all ready,GRAW,COD2(dont like 3)FEAR an many more!!

MS said nex-gen start in 2005 five, it didnt start til GOW was out (maybe) the 360 feels like an old gen console 2 me, especially when the ps2 is sellin 2 times bettah and more, so 400 bux plus 200 for hd dvd = 600 for 360 is way 2 much, it should've been cheaper the nps2 since it suxes 2 bad.. I'l 1000 for my ps3 in a minute cus I know what Im gettin', they said the ps2 will take over and have the best game experiences and it was true, they said the same this time and I believe them they didnt let me down the 2 times before.. ms said xbox will be a bettah console then ps2 (with what?? a game library that has 2 games and both u'll find in ps2) haha, u people are funny 4-real yo..
