Polyphony Digital has announced an update to its Gran Turismo Prologue game. The update only applies to Japanese gamers though. It is set to be released on August 1st, 2008. Here are some of the other primary features we can look forward too as well.

I haven't popped in GT5P in a few days but I have read posts that confirm the EU version states in the news section there will be an update on August 1st so I don't beleive it is a Japan ONLY upgrade.

5 - Question:
Will this update be free ??
I still don't have this game and if this "update" have to be bought then I will go caught Grid and that inc Ferrari game.

Check that Warhawk game...costs like 40 dolars and already have many "adds on" that costs around 20 already.
I want to buy FULL games and pay for it only once and not piece by piece !

Yes but warhawk is WELL WORTH the price. Don't use it as an example, especailly when they just gave us 2 new modes for FREE and I've just got into playing it again. Even though it is online only, it would be worth full game price IMO. And the expansions are awesome as well :) (well omega dawn not so much, dropship is not powerful enough)

7 - I was thinking..
...for the future online games that we pay for a "Warhawk" kind game around around 90bucks intead 40,but then all add on will be free.Except when a major big expansion comes because that will have be payed.
Another exemple I could say are those games like Rock Band and Guitar Hero that have to pay for every new music of the +200 already released.PPL that does not buy add on content gets behind can't play with friends anymore.I hate to be forced to pay for content for a game released less then 3 months ago(exemple).
These new games for consoles seem more and more incomplete to me and that does not happen with Nintendo and not commom to PC games either.

Last time i checked you pay for EVERY addon on the PC side. WOW, C&C, HalfLife whatever, all of them have addons and all of the addons cost money.

I rather like the idea that a developer supports an already released game with additional content (even in cases of its not being free) compared to the past version of fire and forget.
