The US Greatest Hits Range For PS3

Here's a first look at the Greatest Hits Line's initial run of titles, lifted from a new K-Mart entertainment catalogue. I have 2 of the 3 as well, only I passed on Motorstorm. I loved the demo, but didn't have the cash to pick it up at the time, and then just didn't pick it up. I'll probably get part 2 before I would get this one, though, so I guess I'll just only have the 2.

Well it came with my 80gig. It's fun enough to warrant some of my DLC purchases for it, but I doubt I would have bought the game if it hadn't come with my PS3. Motorstorm 2 looks a lot better.

Uncharted and Rachet hasn't been out as long as Resistance, Motorstorm, and Warhawk.... Uncharted has only been out for around 8 months and Rachet hasn't been out for a year yet either. I'm thinking that Uncharted and Rachet along with Heavenly Sword will become Greatest Hits titles sometime in late 2008- early 2009.

it's pure fun! don't expect the graphic to be toip notch, but the game itself is fun and addictive as hell!! once you manage to master the jet fighter, you'll enjoy it even more!

my most played game to this day (on the ps3).

I find the graphics to be quite sexy to tell the truth. It's not realistic...but VERY pretty!

May turn out to be my fav game this gen.

Kinda like playing an episide of the GI Joe cartoons as far as graphics go. One of the upsides to less than high end graphics, though, ive never seen a single drop in frame rate, no matter what was going on

The only game that I don't own out of those games is Warhawk. I would have bought Warhawk when it first came out but it was Online/Multiplayer only with no Single Player or Campaign mode so I didn't buy it, so I probably wont be buying Warhawk at the lower price point. But, I definantly think that it's about time Sony introduced the Greatest Hits line of games.

You should definetelly get Warhawk. It's the most fun online I've had with a game on my PS3. There's lots of strategy in games with people that have mics. Resistance is also good online, but Warhawk wins hands down. I might even have to say that Warhawk is better than CoD4 online.

Is Warhawk really all that great? I bought it, played it for a week, and returned it for store credit. It was technically impressive, but it felt like too much like an awkward, ridiculously underpopulated game of Battlefront for me to enjoy.

wasnt there a rule for PS2 titles to become greatest hits where it has to have sold a certain number of copies and be released for atleast a year(or something)?

well for one Sony has said that a game must be out for over 9 months and have sold 1million to be considered a greatest hits. Warhawk has sold about 600k etail and over 500k download so it's up there already and ofcourse motorstorm being Sonys first PS3 game to reach 3million sold would make it in, next being resistance with 2.8 million. wow.

they should add MGS4 to that cause it sold 3million in roughly 3-4 weeks ^^ man

Warhawk is awesome, though and should be owned by all. It is the best online experience you'll ever find.

1.2 - I think the requirement has always been 500K units.

And I believe Warhawk hit around 800K, so it definitely qualifies. But the other two are overkill. 2.5 million for Resistance, and 3 million for Motorstorm? Damn, how many more copies do they expect to sell? haha

I HATE the red "greatest hits" thing that they put on them.... ever since the ps2 days it just makes the game seem so much cheaper looking in your collection. "Look everyone, I bought this game for HALF of its original sales price!!"
