I'm glad there are no mutants in FC2.
I enjoyed FC1 but the moment i hit the labs with the mutants that ruined the game for me and i stopped playing it from there.

How their going to do the story without some sort of twist like that.

I didn't especially like the mutants, but it did help the story, added enemy variation, and gave me a motivation. In an open world thing, there's not as much reason for me to go kill people if I can just leave the area.

I'd like a little more motivation than just runnin around killin dudes. sooo cross fingers...

Does every story has to have mutants and crap to be interesting? I'm tired of that in shooters the same way I'm tired of elfes n' darves in fantasy RPGs.

In Far Cry you need medicine to survive (and you have to work with a certain faction for that), you have to deal with different factions trying to get to political and military power, and you have The Jackal to kill (a bit like Kurtz in Apocalypse Now). Sounds enough for me if the plot is engaging and well done. Mutants and Aliens can go take a hike.

lol.. mutants was so well in FarCry.. so scary ;D jumps u from 5+ meters.. there was no escape..

I ll play FC2.. I dont mind if there is mutants or not..

this developer is just stripping crytek everytime which is unnecessary.
Crytek deserves a lot of respect for what they have done in pc gaming whereas this f*** hasn't any.
i still think cryengine2 will be much better than this so called dunia engine.

mutants were big part of FarCry and big part of it's success... lol as a matter of fact;;; game's story all about mutants.. what did you played? another game? why did u on that island for? to kill that mercenaries for no reason? btw mercaneries 2 will be great game xSDP
