I've noticed my PSN ID is no more linked to stats on BF:BC website, so it may be true. If it is, I know what to trade in when I'll buy a new game...
No way I'm going to restart from 0

I had the same problem last night! All my awards and dogtags were still there, and in the menu i could see my weapon unlocks.. But i couldnt use them in-game

It started off on Saturday when the unlocks and awards vanished only to reappear a bit later.

I've tried today and all my stats and unlocks have been reset and looking around on the offical site and other gaming sites, it seems that a hell of a lot of people are having problems.

yes reset due to stat padding and vehicle padding abuse. Enjoy it you cheaters, everyone else is fine.

Well I'm no cheater, thats a fact. I've only been made aware of this problem after looking through threads on the official site. The amount of people being affected can't be down to cheating?

...and I'm not cheating but I can't even get any stats or up my ranking. No matter how many kills I get the stats just stay at zero.

If this is not fixed I'm kissing the game goodbye also.

...Everyone in Australia and New Zealand should boycott this game due to there being no servers in this part of the world to support on-line play. Basically we get linked through to games being hosted in Europe and or America which means nothing but a lag fest for this part of the world.

Sure you'll get the occasional bit of luck and get a good game but I'm personally sick of next-gen games featuring last-gen lobby systems. COD4, GTAIV and now Bad Company...all solid games but not a good lobby system amongst them.

i got realy bad lag ,like going through building and then out . then it i quit and then i join a new game hoping for less lag and i have no unloocks or ranks then i go on an hopur later and it says cant connect to ea . sort it out ea i paid money for this

they did this to stop people from infinite repair hack/exploit/cheat and if you ever had a game above 2500 points they delete it and so if you got your unlocks this way they have removed them, as far as the people who didnt cheat im sure they red flaged your account and will look into it further....EA doesn't just screw people for no reason most of the time....and if you are one of the people who were getting 20,000 points a round you deserve to be deleted and maybe even banned from ea's servers.

im going to the gym now. but when i get back home i'm gonna check if my stats were screwed. i remember this once happening in BF2 but i think it was because players wanted to start over to try to reach the top.

just link your PSN ID to your EA account over EA official site ( if you dont have , make new one ) and you will get back all of your unlocked stuff & your rank

The lag is over, My stat disappeared until I went to unlocks- Then they reappeared. Most titles experience some woes in the beginning of the online, with stats and Lag- They have cleared it up-
I will give them credit. I`m playing with friends/clan mates from the UK and I have no Lag-
It takes time to get the kinks out of a FPS-

This game is worth the hassle. Give me a Abrahams Tank and a Assualt rifle with my Clan on Team Speak and it don`t get much better...PURE OWNEdge!!!

only yesterday from 14:00 to 16:00 i couldn´t log in to EA servers, after that all work fine.
For the LAG thing, some people says they have LAG, i play a few games online, gears, ut3, ace combat 6, halo 3, battlefield: bad company and no LAG for me, could it be because i have a 15Mbit connection?

there was also problems on the fifa soccer 08 servers at the same time (they are EA also).and even though on battlefield my stats were reset on the website they are all still there.
