Well that is certainly something you dont hear everyday. Still it's only four days, hardly cause for concern.

1.2 - It comes as no suprise though...
Since the PS3 was the lead platform for this game to begin with. They just must feel more comfortable with the PS3 and can code well for it.

Considering they lead developed on PS3, this isn't all that surprising.

Criterion gave Cagney to Microsoft and Sony at the same time. This has nothing to do with lead consoles or better consoles, this is down to Microsoft's certification process.

Microsoft certification process? LOL. They'll pretty much approve anything, even using glue on their ICs.

Criterion have always loved the Playstation brand due to Creative Director Alex Ward, he understands Playstation as a brand much more than other developers, which is strange for someone under the EA umbrella.

The worm is definitly starting to turn.

Things are beginning to look more and more positive for Sony, this makes a pleasant change!

Think i'm going to have to dust off my copy of Burnout again, it hasn't seen daylight for a couple of months now!

Some are looking for the littlest "fanfare".

I'm glad someone else sees that. This was Microsoft's fault, not Criterion's.

So if you love Sony, you can praise them for approving this faster.
And if you love Microsoft, you can praise them for having so much stuff to approve that sometimes it takes longer.

Everyone wins.

9.2 - Not only that....
look at all the game updates that are causing problems. I personally don't mind if they take a bit longer to approve these updates.

I'm tired of hearing of a game update that suddenly starts causing problems, and then they need an update for that.

Call of Duty 4 is a perfect example. I love when the updates run perfectly like the next man, but i hate when there is a problem with it and it's because they didn't have enough time to thoroughly test it.

Let's see more quality updates come down the pipeline.

lets hope this quick approval by Sony doesnt end up like another firmware 2.4 situation. Make sure it works first, please.

16 - The biggest reason for a delay?
They're probably crawling all over it after the first update was broken.

Higher QA = more time.

Hellz they may even have had to fix their code! OMGZ! that's not fanboi-usable, can't have that here!

16.1 - I agree....
the fanatics really have strong fanatic glasses today. So childish, they said that they gave the update to both parties at the same time. One is just taking longer to approve it then the other.

It's just sad, look at the disgusting love some of the fanatics are displaying for a company that only exist to take your money. They talk as if its a person that won the nobel peace prize. My god, the fanaticism is scary here.

They say words like my sony, and love for sony; can you hear the deep rooted (possibly scary) affectionate words they use to describe this company. What is wrong with some of you people. This is a corporate entity, they make billions of dollars every year, and the most charitable thing i can think of that they have done was Folding@Home. What else have they done, and some of you show some kind of love for this corporate entity like they are your secret girlfriend that you admire from afar.

I can only question some of your sanity.

Updates or done from different teams between both consoles.

Maybe the ps3 team has learned how to debug and program faster now.

I've been playing Paradise every night this week to try to get my car collection up, 26 hours played since release and I'm only 35% finished. Criterion definitely put a lot into this game, it will all be better when Cagney releases too. Online Road Rage wins at all.

22 - You idiot sony wannbe fans just kill me, lol!!
a 4 day delay which is only due to MS stringent certification process and you act like there's a big gaming victory, ha ha!!! What you should be is upset that sony doesn't actually check anything w/a certification process ala firmware update 2.4's colossal failure:)))

23 - I think everyone is over looking
the reason why they are taking 4 days. In my opinion it might have to do with the compression that the 360 undergoes when a game is being released to prevent people from copying also to cram all the information in the dvd9.

Well, all that can be said if it's been delayed past it's release date, it'd better be damn good when it comes out the door.
