SCEE: Super Stardust HD Team Expansion removed because of 2.40 pull

SCEE's told VG247 that the Super Stardust HD Team Expansion has been pulled from PSN because it includes Trophy support.

1.2 - Another badly titled article that misquotes....
It made no sense until I read the article...All it says is that you need to download 2.40 and then the SSHD patch and it will work fine...

"SCEE just told us that the Super Stardust HD Team Expansion is still available for download from its servers, but you won’t be able to access any Trophy functionality unless you’ve already installed Firmware 2.40."

“SuperStardust HD and the Expansion Pack are still on the store and available for download,” a rep told VG247. “However the patch that is required to enable Trophies is part of the 2.40 update. So, people can still download and play the game now, but they will not be able to access Trophies without the 2.40 firmware update.”

4 - That explanation...
makes absolutely no sense. The game itself has trophy support, so why wouldn't they pull the whole thing? I was playing SSHD all night last night and I'm almost done with the trophies for it. I must admit, the trophies are really going to keep me playing games, but now I feel like I'm getting way more value from them.

i downloaded 2.40 yesterday afternoon musta just got it before they took it off cuz my friend went to download it like an hour later and it wouldnt let him..... my 2.40 works smooooth as buttta...no probs at all...also downloaded the super stardust expansion late last night...and workin on the trophies for that..workin perfect also...hope they get that patch up and goin so me and my friends can battle for trophies....like someone said above it feels like your gettin more outta the game when u work for trophies....EXACTLY...thats why i would ALWAYS buy cross platform games on the 360 .for the gamer points..just feels like your doing more and gettin more outta your game...and then can show your friends hey i beat this game...etc etc....and when i beat a ps3 game...it feels shallow or empty...cuz no one would ever know i finished mgs4 on boss extreme...or that i owned heavenly sword....just felt empty...but now.....i think ps3 owners will get alot ALOT more outta there games...just hope they get some patches up and goin SOON for the older games...im glad ps3 did this....its a huge update...2.40 is great...just they needa get it back up so everyone can enjoy it..also just got superstardust yesterday the game and the expo..wow its a REALLY fun game...had me gamin for hours and gonna work on it here again in a bit

they pulled it cause 2.4 has been pulled from sony servers to fix it in case ppl get more probs with it.. thats y this was pulled as well.

when 2.4 is back so will this.

I've unlocked all the trophies. Ecept that 2 player one. I need to buy a dual shock 3.
