is there a different kind of trophie for finishing a game in easy or normal mode? At least in Super Stardust HD there's no difference.

i didn't even know there was an easy mode. there wasn't one before so i guess they addeed that in an udpdate?

hold off for a week or two... MGS4 is almost assuredly one that can and will be trophy compliant. (and getting the big boss trophy has to be worth a Gold trophy)

Burnout is a great game. I convinced my friend to get it when he got his PS3 2 weeks ago and he's loving it. I can't wait till the patch comes out next week.

I really hope Burnout Paradise is retroactive. That's one of the few games I've beaten completely at 100%. The gamesave file is locked on your account so it should work.

It was a lot of work getting to the point I'm at in some games. I'm not sure I'd mind having a good excuse to do it again but I would prefer retroactive patches. Any thoughts?

if the save files are psn ID locked its very likely the trophies in some games would be retroactive

remember Sony doesn't make all the games its up to the developers to add trophies so you should write e-mails to them and request that they get with the program

you would think that Sony would've wanted to let a few devs in on the plan to release trophies at least a couple of weeks beforehand. They could've had patches ready for us as soon as 2.4 dropped, similar to what happened as soon as the DS3 came out. However, I'm not one to complain, and I will enjoy earning trophies as soon as they become available:)

I was sort of hoping some company would come out with a console that killed itself so I could get a new one and take a couple weeks off of gaming every now and then. Maybe someone could even make it without a hard drive so that I need to buy their very own, special $100 one. Golly, it would be great if they could even just come out with some sort of HD player to add-on. I don't like blu ray too much, too many titles available. Gee whiz, that would just be my dream console...
