Siren: Blood Curse Blu Ray to support English language

In a rather bizarre move, Sony has included English language support in the Asian release of Siren: Blood Curse, leaving the game open to import to Europe and the US.

it'll be hard with Afrika since there will be a biography/database sort of thing for each animal which would suck if you couldn't read it.

oh god i hope so.. i would forgive sony for not releasing afrika in europe in a heartbeat, if i can import it and it's in english. because i really really want that game, and i don't know japanese.

Just seems weird not releasing the Blu Ray in US/EU if they include English language in the Asian version.

Why make us download it? Everyone will now import.

But also it might be economical.

If they don't have to make discs for EU and/or the U.S., then they save millions on localizations

The only people that will still download it will be the people that aren't exactly traditionalists.

Great news i will import.

Still i guess the reason why its eposonic everywhere else is that its the perfect title to test the waters and see if this form of gaming could take off as it wouldn't sell a great deal normally outside of japan.

Hopefully they do this with more JPN exclusive games

Sounds good to me, but I think I'd just download it when available in the US PS store.

BTW, does anybody think Sony will finally release MGS1 for US/EU PS store? It sucks that MGS1 is ONLY in the JPN PS store. I want it in english. :)

I'll definitely import just to spark the traditionalist in me. Anyone else really excited for this release? Been playing Fatal Frame III these past few days and horror titles really bring a great experience to the table. I'm contemplating a Wii purchase just for Fatal Frame IV.

I hope SONY decides to add English localization to other JPN exclusives for sure...

Let's hope for Square Enix back catalog to PSN!!

Hopefully they added English to the Japanese version as well...
Added $5 and pre-ordered the Japanese version hoping I would get the pre-order music CD that comes with it.
I don't really need English but it would make it more valuable I guess.
Anyway hope people import away, that download only thing was stupid for this sleeper hit.
For me the experience of playing part 1 (in Japanese) was on par w/ MGS3...

the voice work is primarily done in English. the demo i played was all in English the only thing that wasn't was the controls display.

16 - Its an excellent demo.
Its a great thing that they are doing this. I played the demo and all but the non voice dialogue is Japanese. English is only the voice overs and such, which is the main part of the story. The rest is descriptive text that appears on screen as you play (E.g. Resident Evil style). Download the demo off the JPN PSN Store. A very solid demo from start to finish and fun.
