Wet PS3 Exclusivity Denied

There have been rumors on the web that a UK game retailer is only showing PS3 cover art for Sierra's hotly anticipated title Wet and therefore it will no longer be available for the Xbox 360. Today, the Bitbag received an e-mail confirmation from Sierra/Vivendi that Wet will not be a PS3 exclusive title. We put a little more confidence in this response than prior "we can neither confirm or deny" statements we have heard from other publishers in the past.

yesterday's article claiming that we had such high expectations for Midway and Vin Diesel's Wheelman? I think companies are using a strategy of putting out fake rumors or debunking non-existent rumors just to get us to bite on their obscure titles. This is stupid.

10 - Don't know if we will be seeing many if any third party exclusives in the near future for the ps3 except from the old faithful like insomniac.
I mean after the amount of money/delays there has been dished out for the 1st party offerings not to mention the cancelations of the get away/8 days and rumoured HS2. It looks like the console war/Br drive has taken its toll on Sony and they dont have much money to play around with at the mo.

Not to mention dev are wary of going PS3 exc due to the problems/money involved when it comes to dev for the ps3. After the spectacular failing of FR(a respected and talented team.) with Haze i wonder how many others will want to take the risk especially if Sony aint handing out cash as an incentive.

Im just wondering how many more Star ocean 4's were gonna see at this moment in time.

Sorry for sounding pessamisitc but im just being a realist and this is how i see it at this moment in time. Apart from MGS 4 it has been bad news for most of the year with Gt5p being a big dissapointment for me due to the lack of progression in everything except car models. How many more MGS type exc are we gonna beable to play as Ps3 owners?

I suppose it depends on how bad you want to play ff13/lbp/R2 and killzone 2. At the moment for me there is only one must play out of those games(Ff 13) as shooters are 2 a penny and there are better franchises already out then the 2 mentioned and lbp looks very interesting but i don't think ill have the time or the patience to get the most out of it.

The Bitbag does not hate Sony. If you listen to the HipHopGamer show or WarZone podcast, Sony gets much love.

The Bitbag does not have a problem with Sony getting exclusives, just wanted to quell any rumor by Sony fans that the PS3 might get this game as an exclusive.

For those that have never heard of the game or have forgotten, it made huge news during the Sierra Gamer's Week back in August and has seen over a quarter of a million downloads at GameTrailers. I personally am looking forward to this game as it looks amazing.
