1 - WARNING WARNING Idiotic article alert
For anyone who's outside the UK, The Sun is the most read newspaper in the UK and it's primarily written for the working class with it's content heavily biased, badly written and rupert murdoch propaganda.

Anyone featured in the paper that has been convicted of a crime has been branded a "beast" or a "Fiend" or a "Paedophile" simply because it stirs up hatred with the public. What the Sun says, the people do.

Just because of one Welsh idiot wanting to sell his story about the ingame spoof webiste, this could potentially be a disaster on a biblical scale for GTA4 in the UK. I hate the Sun, I really really hate that propaganda, this is yet another silly report to bring the gaming industry into disrespute.

That is a great comparison. South Park jokes about EVERYTHING they want (and I love that about SP). How come Rockstar can't? Both are for adults.

Stories by The Sun are the worst crap you could imagine, like someone explained above. Making horror or sensation out of nothing in most cases, no matter about what. The best action is to ignore that.

of all the things to be outraged about this game, they had to pick this??

what about the lame "endings", the lame "every other character then the main guy", the horrible music selection, the "all over the place" storyline, terrible "car handling"...

so many things, and yet they get outrage over a pedo catching website.

I feel that the real problem was that when Jason typed the url in the address bar, he didn't realize he was still at his PC looking up cheats and ultimately got a child porn site. Poor guy was probably scarred to see his daughter up there :/.

Okay, it's time for a reality check here.

We all know what the Sun is like and what type of audience they have and MCV are only doing their job as professional journalists by reporting the news and clearly pointing out the inconsistencies in the article. But one thing remains true: there are things you don't joke about and pedophilia is one of them.

I don't care if it's only a game. I don't care if it allows you to kill ten thousands of people. But there is a limit to what game publishers can and should allow themselves to show in a game. Maybe the fact I've got a kid gives me a different perspective on this...
