gears 2 will probably be 10 hours long my friend, enjoy walking around corridors with what 20 enimies at max
gears2=epic failure compared to MGS4 i'll bet any amount of money
for the record i haven't played either and its IMO

Actually from the video shown you are still fight 3-4 enemies at max. Its just the chaos all around you that gives you a feel that there are too many characters on screen. Gears of War 2 will be a good game. It will be better then original gears which was a pretty good game. But MGS4 is a game that comes once in a console generation. Sony asked for a system seller exclusive from Kojima & thats exactly what Kojima gave them.

SOCOM confrontation looks better that gears 2 IMO for third person shooters (who the f*ck puts a chainsaw at the end of a gun, shoot the bastard and don't waist gas. PS chainsaw's are loud)
and if it ends when gears comes out than don't worry it starts right back up again with R2 the next day.

Mate I used number 3-4 metaphorically, if you know what I mean? I played Gears 1 & I bought 360 just because of Gears of War & it was worth it, short but worth it. I am just talking about the first video released. Just look at it again & let me know.

i just took a break to go to the bathroom, grab some chow, and see what people are saying. i am 2 hours into the game and nothing, i mean nothing is going to touch this game this year. it is unbelieveable. when you get to the main menu, don't start the game. wait until snake kneels down and then watch the 'commercial' that plays. they put so much stuff in this game it is unbelievable. it is a 20 out of 10. best game...ever. period. there is nothing gears 2 can do that is going to top this. seriously. play it an you will understand.

this is why i look at games like bourne and say they are a piece of crap. you can't give that game a 7 and this game a 10. they are so much farther apart than 3 measly points.

you are confusing snake and big boss, his genetic father. the eye patch in mgs4 is the solid eye. his normal eye still works beneath it. the solid eye has night vision and telescopic view..
