Magazine subscriptions deliver about every 4 weeks, so I hope I get this issue in the mail by the end of the week. InFamous sounds like a real blockbuster for Sony. This new IP could really be a formidable opponent for GTA.

Details have been very vague so far so I'm going to try and keep my expectations down. Don't want to the hype to weigh the game down like a lot of other games.

Anything open world is on my anticipated list.

we just recently lost the possiblity of playing 8 days or the The Getaway anytime soon yet we have so many great exclusive IPs coming that no one is even worried.

Oh and my money for the mystery game is on it being Team Ico's game.

I've been waiting for a city of heroes like game for a while, and this looks like it could be a good one. I don't expect this until early 09, but that's fine. We may see a death match between this and Crackdown 2.

That is the lamest complaint list of a game (still under development) I have ever read. I hate this game too. The lightning looks too bright. Plus, his jacket looks like it's from the GAP and I'll only wear Polo so, he looks stupid. You can can't comfortably perform super moves in cargos like his, so again, this sucks. Look at the car he's standing on. It's looks like a VW. Everyone knows Hondas are the way to go. Nevermind Sucker Punch is a great dev and have yet to not deliver on a title.

In the front they always show what each editor is playing. Each editor is always playing at least 5 or 6 different games from any console out. They are as un-biased as multi-platform mags get.

My interest in this game is high right now.

Yeah, the game footage from last year looked pretty lame. But I want to see how it looks now. His outfit has definitely improved, and the character looks more like a young man than little teenager (last year's design).

I don't have to see the game to know I don't like it already. I can just look at the main character and read about the gameplay elements. I have seen the trailer, by the way.

Things I don't like

The absurd clothes the guy is wearing
The red hair
The super innovative "elemental" powers

c'mon guys this is an average game made by a great developer. they all make mistakes. Who made this characters looks etched in stone? Capcom listened when fans lashed out about Bionic commando's heros look. Sucker Punch are just arrogant and they probably made the guy look like someone on their team.

So, Action, now I have to like a game even if i don't care for the main character? He/she is your main outlet. Without a connection to the main character you're out of pocket, man.

Haven was a pretty good game, but the main character was just terrible. One of the worst of all time. Heavenly Swords Nariko was absolutley stale. These are just two examples of games with characters I do not have a connection with. 50 cent bullet proof, another example. It had some alright gameplay but I just don't connect with the guy.

Tomb Raider, I hate Lara Croft.

Do you understand what I'm saying here? If I don't like the main character why the hell would I play the game? He/she is my outlet into the game.

Bioshock is coming to PS3, so PS3 is ahead in AAA buddy. You better pray ME stays, cause PS3 will fix all those problems it had running on 360. On gameranking Uncharted is 90% even though we all know it should be higher. Why is GTA IV (PS3) and higher on gameranking than 360? PS3 wins again. As usual. From here on out! :)

Sony's been focusing on their 2008 lineup, and you can only market so many large titles in one year. This is an '09 game, so you'll start to see less emphasis on titles like Killzone and Motorstorm near the latter half of the year and more emphasis on titles like God of War, Infamous, etc.
