EA "working around the clock" on broken Bad Company demo

CVG writes: "Ranking issues ironed out, servers boosted and a patch to come tomorrow.

EA says it's "working around the clock" to fix the many errors that plagued the new Battlefield: Bad Company demo this weekend, having just sorted out the broken ranking system.

Virtual warmongers were left disappointed when the demo was hit with laggy servers and a completely broken ranking system as player rushed to get their team-based battling on.

The good news is the ranking should be up and running now. "The stats database has been reinforced and you should now see the correct stats both in-game and on the website," said developer DICE, confirming that it'll also release a patch tomorrow to further secure your hard-earned stats."

Come on EA, we know it's your 'thing' to flood the market with broken games but can you please fix one before releasing another?

The ORANGE BOX, ported by EA games to Playstation 3, is still suffereing and it's like no one cares. I have never seen in my gaming life a company that just leaves it's customers out to dry like this?

EA took our money for a substandard product and have done NOTHING to fix it (the patch they did release just broke things further). This was a consumer oriented bait and switch that was orchestrated by EA games. They knew the success of the orange box and the half-life franchise and they paid just enough to get publication rights to the game on my system of choice (ps3). After selling hundred of thousands of copies of TOB, EA just continues to make money from the franchise even though they are driving it, and the franchises of their other games, into the ground!

Thanks for nothing EA. I won't even download your broken bad company demo because i'm done with your negligent company.

Dice are working for Battlefield under EA so you'll expect *better* support. Orange box was done by one of the EA offices -- thats why it sucks, and theres no support for it.

Is anyone else having an absolute blast playing Battlefield: Bad Company? I mean, I love the little single player campaign demo, but that multiplayer is the most fun I've had in a war game since forever.

I don't even remember having a better time in COD4.

i think i had more fun in battlefield 2142 on pc though, but it is much better than cod4, theres just more stuff to do, in cod4 maps were small and all do do is spawn, shoot, die. but battlefield is better because MUCH BIGGER maps, more people online, it don't seem too repetitive.....
ive played the online demo about 30rounds and thats just 1 map on 1 mode

it seems to happen if you quit when in a game, you should exit the game to the main menu then it updates your rank and the game quits normally.

How about you work around the clcok to make sure the final product doesn't get these issues, we're cool with a broken demo, we didnt pay for it.

So just make sure the final release isnt going to suffer the same problems!

I LOVE THE SOUNDS OF WAR!
this game has ruined all other fpshooters for me in the sound department!

Once I finish unlocking everything on burnout paradise im trading it for battlefield bad company. By then, everyone will know how to fly that helicopter.

Great Game, its just sad that EA didnt put more money into it!
I would have defined EA with Battlefield instead of Madden & regular games that get recycled through the years!

Hope Dice gets the support from the people & EA says something like "DICE IS OUR PREMEIR DEVELOPERS & WILL BE GIVEN THE ROCKSTAR TREATMENT IN ALL THEIR FUTURE PROJECTS!"

but its EA...
