supposed to be there at launch. Sony was doing demo's of these features before launch. This stuff was expected and it was expected for a good reason. Every launch PS3 owner knows this. It is better late then never, but it's even better when expected.

I back up your comment by further stating that Sony defonatly confirmed in game communications to be in firmware 2.4 which they stated would arrive in Summer.

I believe it is still spring. ( please correct me on this if I am wrong )

So before any "we know who types", invade this thread making statements of "Sony lied, delay station", etc. etc., Remember one thing, the official start of summer (summer solstice) is June 21st (King_many_layers, correct, its still spring), so if it does come out on the 10th its early, and if it comes out any time after the 21st or early July as this article suggests, then its only as Sony stated "Summer".

All dates so far are rumour, no date has actually been given.

Those who disagreed, educate yourselves.

1. Summer officially and scientifically begins at the solstice on 21st/22nd June (longest day of the year) and ends at the autumnal equinox on 21st/22nd September. Look it up

2. Sony's only announcement regarding 2.40 has been to state "Summer 2008"

3. Dates of 10th, 12th etc for the 2.40 update are purely rumour, because it ties in with MGS4 release, but no official announcement by Sony has been made, other than "Summer"

If your going to disagree, post a reply back with why you disagree.

It's like I said yesterday, there are some real idiots on this site.

Don't believe in rumours, wait for the official announcements

However if you check out our article, it says our insider told us the date is subject to change.

As much as I want Ninja Gaiden 2, there is NO WAY I will get a 360, and neither will my uncle. My uncle said that something as cheap as that would probably break within seconds. I'm sticking with my PS3 and I'm definitely getting a PSP as well.
Trust me, DO NOT do that. The 360 may have good games/online service but their hardware can't be trusted.

I agree if you ever talk to a multi-console owner you will useally see that they like playing the ps3 more and u useally see 360 fanboys dissing multi-console owners too. probably for the reason I just stated. now Don't get me wrong the whole debate weather 2.4 will come out or not is going to spiral out of control but then again It will come out eventually and when it does My suggetion to many xbox fanboys is to IGNORE what ps3 fanboys might be saying and my suggestion to ps3 fanboys is NOT to brag about it. I doubt that will happen but heh its a start.
