I needed a game to be pushed back. Between Gears of War 2, Little Big Planet, and Resistance 2, I am going to have NO TIME. And the more time Killzone has, the more chance it has of being AWESOME.;

n they will have the only real good game on holidays they will be few other geow n etc but r2 is r2 is a goty n this time will kick geow ass in reviews maybe not on sales n they already won last year in gameplay and history r1 was and still is one of the funnies game 2 be play its 2 much fun!!!

Between Battlefield Bad Company, Resistance 2, and Gears 2, and socom. I will have my complete share of shooters this year. Now im looking forward to some of these (crosses fingers) RPGs that i hope some day will arrive.

I hope some of these RPGs are announced at E3 this year. Bring my hopes back up a little.

But yea. Shooter fans are once again well taken care of for the year of 2008. Just as they were in 2007.

I totally agree with Sony's decision to delay Killzone 2. Sony doesn't need 2 of thier Flagship FPS released almost on top of each other, and it will give PS3 gamers a chance to get a lot out of Resistance 2 before moving to Killzone 2 in February 2009.

But I have to tip my hat to Sony because they are starting out the 2009 year with a HUGE blockbuster game title that will give the PS3 momenteum after the Christmas season.

Personally I would have preferred to see Resistance 2 delayed to Feb. 2009 for the simple fact that we've already played a Resistance PS3 game and I could wait a little bit longer for it, and I've just been anticipating Killzone 2 so much, and the Playstation Day interviews with Steven Ter Hiede and gameplay footage even got me more excited for the game. At Playstation Day, Killzone 2 was running in Pre-Alpha Code and the games graphics looks just as good as COD4, just imagine how the final game will look... I just can't wait.

Yes i have a 360 and I don't own PS3. I'll buy one once Sony convinces me that they care about the North American gamer.
Order of importance according to Sony:

1. Japan
2. Europe
3. North America

Im on the fence about getting a PS3. I can buy one, but why? Sony doesn't give a @#$% about my money. I have yet to see a MGS4 commercial or anything PS3 related.
Don't get me wrong KZ2 looks incredible. But Sony really has to step up its marketing campaign.

I'm suprised at Sony, this game would sell a lot more instead it's being released on a slow moths for Video game sales.

Resistance 2 gets that PERFECT Holiday slot..hmmm I'm sure Insomniac's president is not loosing sleep over it..hehe

You know by FEB, I could expect Hardcore gamers to jump in on KZ2, regardless, but most are broke after the Holiday season ya know. Of course, not people like us, on this site but Spring time is very slow for sales.

Sony could have switched Resistance 2 and KillZone 2 Slots. I think gamers are more excited for KZ2 not Resistance 2. They are only improving Resistance 2, just as Geow2 games but this game got most gamers mouths watering...

He wants the PS3 to do well so he helps out other companies with code for the PS3, so I am not surprised by his statement.

Ted Price one of the few presidents who knows what we PS3 gamers want. =)

second off, TWO.....not 5 or 6 but TWO sites gave it a 8.

so all the other 15 plus sites that gave it 9.5 and up are "biased" now?
