Never was a big Battlefield fan but this one looked impressive, then I got some feedback from the beta players and they hated it.

Anyone else who participated in the beta care to comment?

I was in the beta and it was not good, everything from shooting to driving and no parachutes one game mode only (fuking gold rush), having to unload a full clip before dropping someone, pre-rendered destruction, missing animations average graphics, no prone etc.

As far as I know (buddy got the demo early) it is the same in the demo. Plus it's EA their support for games is not that great (BF2MC server problems anyone ?) and they really turned me off with the pay for weapons in FPS attempt.

If you carve Battlefield experience look no further then Frontlines - that game is more of a battlefield game then this "new" attempt from DICE and EA

Looking awesome. Battlefield was my second favorite PS2 game behind Kingdom Hearts. I would have the demo already except for BestBuy and stupid EA support staff(gave me a code after complaining-THAT DIDN'T WORK)

5 - Man, they already screwed this game up
I hate the way that if you put your crosshair over a player it shows their an enemy. It kinda makes the whole destruction aspect kinda cheap. If you accidently point your crosshair over a guy you know he's hiding in a building, then you can easily take it out, as opposed to carefully choosing which buildings you destroy.

...shockwaves. Nothing reacts from an explosion unless its being destroyed. The environment looks great but it does not feel like a living environment.

what I can see from that small video is the environment is more like the one in DIRT. the ground, trees and rocks look so familiar. they use blurring technics in order to make them look real. maybe it's just me. I'm not going to buy it anyway. I had enough FPS for now! I'll wait for Resistance2 instead.

i can see why some people will like this, vehicle combat sounds cool, the other battlefields were fairly fun but whats with all the bloom effects here? i really dislike the crosshair and the iron sights of the gun. last battlefield i played was ps2 and online was fun (again, vehicles) but i just preferred call of duty 2 or 3 online than BF.
STILL, MGS3 subsistence was BOSS over any online play ive played EVER.
