The game looks better indeed and even though I never minded it, there does seem to be less of the green hue to the game now.

I can't wait to play this game. Playing through MGS1 right now. Awesome

Its not misguided, the people are talking about the difference between the dev-kit footage from 2005 and the actual PS3 game. Yeah, there was a downgrade to the characters, particularly Snake. The final lighting is not near as realistic and natural as what the dev-kits could put out, the skin shaders were slightly more complex, and his hair was driven by 60000 vertices. I would guess that the final hair is somewhere in the 100's to 1000's. Oddly enough though, I think his moustache actually looks quite a but better in the final build.

This I believe, is what Kojima meant when he said that he was somewhat "disappointed" with MGS4's final graphics. I must say the real game looks pretty damn good (and close) in most ways. Certainly a huge leap over MGS3, and vastly improved from the early work in progress TGS 2006 Trailer. Besides, from the gameplay vids Iv'e seen it will be something really special. June 12th, here we come!!

After his major makeover and what I saw in the trailer (him vs. Vamp), I would sell my grandmother for a decent "Metal Gear Raiden".

Solid Saga is now ending with MGS4, and we know how gorgeous Raiden is. It could be interesting to know more about Raiden and his past with Solidus Snake, and maybe how he became a ninja (if not explained in MGS4).

BUT if the game is called something like "Metal Gear Raiden", it would mess up, "MGR" meaning, as Raiden, you have to destroy a Metal Gear, again and again. So if a game / series in planned for Raiden, it should have another name, just like Death By Degrees was Tekken's Nina's game.

So why not something like "Jack The Reaper" as Metal Gear Solid's Raiden's game.

In my suspicion, I think that the Patriots (or someone that wanted to know the exact location of the Patriots) seemed to have extracted the nanomachines from his body in order to obtain the information on the exact location of the Patriots and it probably had serious repercussions to his body.

Even though GW disrupted Arsenal, Raiden's nanomachines still had the information of the Patriots in them.

Just a thought but we'll see what exactly happened in MGS4 I guess. =P

Its a standard to have ninjas in metal gear, what are you talking about? thats where stealth has originated, from the ninja, thats why they're in metal gear, thats what makes metal gear so good, they're snake's guardian angels.
