And Now, The Metal Gear Solid 4 Soundtrack

Would the Metal Gear Solid 4 markting juggernaut be complete without a soundtrack? No. No it most certainly would not. To be released a little ahead of the game - on May 28 - the soundtrack will consist of 47 songs, composed once again by series regular (and Shrek composer) Harry Gregson-Williams. At the moment only a Japanese release has been confirmed, where it'll cost ¥3045 (USD$29).

Yep. Getting the Limited Edition as well, though I'll hold off sampling the soundtrack until after I beat the game.

5 - Most Likely An Import Unfortunately
This might be the first thing that I import considering that it has only been confirmed for Japan. Since I'm new to the whole "import" thing what steps are actually involved? Could I just order it from that site Play-Asia?

You could get it for free in the Limited Edition (pretty sure it is the same soundtrack). Anyways, google is your friend. Plenty of U.S. friendly import sites.

Has it already been confirmed that it is the same though? If it were different I would definitely just get both.

this is just a sample

it previews all 47 tracks, but they're only samples, not the entire track...

but if there happens to be a full download (which there inevitably will be), i'll have to resist...

even though I've paid for the LE already!

7 - Harry Gregson-Williams
Why do people keep slapping his name next to Shrek? Ya know he did better works including The Rock, Team America World Police, ... Metal Gear Solid 2 and 3... and uh Spy Kids?
