No Afrika for Europe, world ends

VG247: SCEE's now decided there is some news on Afrika, telling Eurogamer the game won't be releasing in Europe.

When I was young I imported a N64 straight from Japan, to play the Japanese version of Mario64 Months before it came out.

w/ the PS3 all you have to do is order the game.

Makes me think this game might end up being a rather strange one!

Still, if it catches your eye, import a copy, region free style. But I'm sure if EU shows enough interest we be getting a version slightly later.

Funny fact: In case I import it from the USA, it's even cheaper than buying here (Germany). Only drawback is I have to wait for the shipment, but I can live with that.

I think eurogamer misinterpreted this: "Sony has told Eurogamer that it will not be publishing Afrika in Europe." Sony says they will not publish the game in europe, which doesn't mean another publisher won't.
But if it's true that they won't release Afrika in Europe, the people who do the thinking at Sony are moronic. Europe is the one continent that's actually favoring ps3 above the other consoles (x360, wii,..).

Well, there is Nintendo of Europe, Nintendo of America... I think every big company has those - although those don't **** up as much as SCEE does. Well, NOE maybe... the European Brawl release date is a joke.

(No bashing, I like my PS3 and my Wii, but I have some serious issues with those morons that run the companies for the market here.)

They should release this game in Europe, are they releasing in Japan First to see if it'll sell well. Sony should do something about their European division.

Edit:Question Will Japan get it first, or will it come to North America and Europe depending on sales in Japan after it's released.

The graphics look cool, but if this is some sort of next-gen Pokemon Snap I really don't care.

Until I know what sort of game Afrika really is (if it's a game at all) I'm not going to worry.

As for importing - that will depend on the amount of Japanese text. If it's Japanese only then I doubt there will be English/other languages embedded.
