the wii and ps3 are moving consoles and seems to be doing well. Also software wise.

same goes to US too. The ps2 owner havent made the Next gen leap and it is very likely that they go with PS3

This is ridiculous! How could any fanboys *looks at the open zone and laughs heartily* claim this proves anything about the console war on a global scale.

Switzerland managed to sell 18K Ps3s & 5.5K 360's in three months!

In America they sell 18K PS3s and almost as many 360's in 60hrs!

But you've got to remember that Switzerland has a fraction of the population that America has. In addition to this, the standard of living for the public there is much higher. So Joe Soap on the street has a little bit more to spend than Joe Soap in the USA.

I'm sorry it doesn't prove anything. Perhaps you need to work on your geography and realise Switzerland is about as small a country you'll find anywhere in the world.

Total sales in Europe of the two consoles combined was approximately 1,560,000 in Q1 2008. Switzerland combined sales as shown above were approximately 24,000.

In other words Switzerland accounted for about 1.5% of Europe's total sales which is on the verge of statistical insignificance.

Whilst the Switzerland figures suggest a greater than 3:1 sale ratio of PS3:360, the European ratio is closer to 1.9:1 for Q1 2008. Since the end of March, however, the ratio has continued to shrink due largely to the 360 price cut.

To further put Europe in perspective. American sales in the same period were approximately 1,900,000 meaning the growth size of the American market was approximately 22% greater than in Europe. Further the American PS:360 ratio was 0.95:1 from Jan-March 2008.

The PS3 is certainly gaining and doing very well in Europe, but please don't be so blinded by your emotional attachments to a console to claim that by looking at a grain of sand you can tell me what the whole beach looks like!

man you are a mess, you waste 13 lines to prove me wrong which by the 14th you start seeing that what i said was correct and all what you put down on your whole paragraph only to say what i said in 1 line.

i hope that you are not being blinded by your weak thoughts structuring logic. and see that i was no where near America in all of this and you had to squeeze it in for obvious reasons.

Something about Europe you might slipped, the whole region and by whole am talking about western part have very similar taste in what they call entertainment from football to booze. i can live in Paris and go pick a game from London in less than 2hrs for the whole trip.

see the point ? if not i can't help bots i apologize.

I took issue with your reasoning and failure to acknowledge the insignificance of Switzerland on a European and global scale (hence the American stats).

My "13 lines" of reasoning prove your statement to be flawed, my "14th line" confirms the reality of Europe based on the preceeding "13 lines" of sound argument, rather than your own conclusion which is based on 1.5% of the European market.

My issue was never with the current state of the console war, it was with your lack of evidence to support your initial claim. Dismissing someone as a bot or fanboy merely indicates your inability to respond with a cohesive counter argument.
