FIFA 09 RUMORS

FIFA 09 the latest installment of the top selling football franchise is being developed at EA Canada and is boasting over 251 improvements from FIFA 08. Over two weeks ago the game was shown at the EA Gamers Day. Here are the latest rumours circulating about the game:

- Improved physics system. FIFA 09 has an improved physics system which affects both players and the football itself allowing for beautiful, powerful and deveastating shots and unprecedented levels of realism during a match.

- Improved animation system. The brilliant animation system seen in FIFA 08 is improved upon to include hundreds of new animations for players that further add to the simulation feel of the game.

- New player faces. 3D player modelling is vastly improved and now offers unbelievable similarities to the real life counterparts.

- Increased response times and game speed. Player response times have been increased to increase the flow of the game as in real life, while game speed has been tweaked from FIFA 08.

EA Canada=best EA branch.

And to say that this was once a doomed franchised.They have jumped back on their feet and are now leading the way.
The future looks very bright for football games,even though the next 'great' PES is only slated for next year,when they finally complete their new game engine.

To even say that it could be game of the year,adds the cherry on the pie.

Man there are many things FIFA has to improve it, the most important thing of course the shooting, they should build a shooting engine here, I want to score real goals from distance ways, and the player’s speed should be different from each other also like how come Terry can catch C.Ronaldo or Misse !! and the dribble should be easy to use and useful, and I don’t know why the player looks like plastic some times they look real sometimes they don’t, despite that Winnig Elevevn or PES has a horrible graphics but the players real looks, look better than FIFA .

most goals are scored by tapping circle in front of goal and keeper never stop them, however a beautifully struck shot from just outside the box nearly always produces an impossible save.

hes correct that terry should not be able to catch ronaldo, when im past a player i want to get away from him. this is REALISTIC.

skills are easy to do, but your player can't go more than half a mile an hour when doin stepovers. stepovers are supposed to be done at speed to throw off the defender.

pes v fifa.... last year was 'allegedly' the closest they have been for a long time.... Pes has the 'football' instinct and control nailed, fifa has the polished asthetic aspects nailed. I suppose they waited till uefa was out and about, before announcing these things...
on a side note, I don't understand why konami don't just use psn? home is going to be perfect for pes trophies.... F.A. cup, european champions league and world cup are just waiting to be replicated....

Millions of ps2 owners are holding their breath in anticipation; whether 09 will be made for the ps2. well the ps2 still has 2 more years left in it so I hope they do cater for em ps2 boyz. If not then this is a game worth upgrading for. Not silly games like GTA.

and the goolkeeper,,, they are like super man all of them, this not fai, and still the shooting is baaaad from long or even face to face areas,,,,, they shoud fix right away, this is not real all your shots far far very far away, PES has a real shooting syestem and that why most people still love it despite the bad version last year,
