Free Downloadable Content coming for HAZE

After picking up my copy of HAZE which is actually a solid shooter, and will tide any Ps3 owner over until Resistance 2 hits in November despite what our friends at IGN seem to believe.

Anyway i've just noticed on the back of the case it states here will be some free downloadable content coming in the future, most likey will be maps and maybe weapons for the multiplayer modes, but it is refreshing to see a developer not charging over the top prices for a few extra maps (call of Duty 4 and Gears of War suffered badly from this).

Please note this picture is from the UK PAL version of the game, there are some reports that the US version doesn't state free downloadable content on its Box.

well good thing they didnt expect ppl to pay more money for this crap game. Just scrap the damn thing, forget about it and put their effort into something else and show ppl they can do something good.

Its not crap. IGN have just lost alot of rep given this game a 4.5 imo. Its a solid shooter, and if your looking for something to tide you over to resistance 2, i recomend this.

1.2 - What some people might not know is that the guy that reviewed Haze

for IGN was also the person they sent to Japan to play through MGS4. Maybe that some how screwed up his perception of what a decent game is. Because there is no way that Haze is worse then Hour Of Victory which IGN gave a 5.7. That game was just straight up broken.

I'll never forget that IGN gave Haze a 4 in graphics because of severe aliasing, yet they gave GTA IV a 10 in graphics despite the fact that it has severe aliasing. There's something very wrong with that picture.

it can't possibly last till November with other heavy hitters out.

Coupled with the horrible reviews, people are choosing to stay away from Haze...so there wont' be that many people online...

and then MGS4/MGO drops in a few weeks...so thats LESS haze players online

then SOCOM drops, and thats even LESS haze players online

SC4 drops too...

Sadly, I was going to pick up Haze, and still might...but I don't think its strong enough to outlast the other titles coming between now and Resistance 2. Its a filler from GTA4 to MGS4.

i've just bought the game and it's actually a pretty good game. The reviewers who gave a score under 6/10 are dumps. They probably try to compare Haze with COD4, or the future AAA games like Resistance 2 and Killzone 2, the games with BIG attemps. I would give a 8/10 for Haze. Good game, which gives more option to PS3 owners for FPS games.

Spot on, Haze is one game that got under-rated. And looks alot better than the demo. but best of all its got great gameplay and your are right on the mark with you review.... been playing it none stop great game.
