Absolutely amazing.

I can't believe we are seeing graphics of this level on the PS3 while the 360 is still stuck 'making things shiny' in last gen type games like Gears of War, Halo, etc.

It is mind boggling to think what PS3 games will look like in a few years assuming the same type of PS2 engine and graphics progression if they have graphics, scale, and dynamic environments so far beyond the 360 already.

The large power advantage the PS2 had over the Dreamcast was nothing compared to the PS3 over the 360 this gen.

i think in one of kojima interview he said that he wanted snake to have an ipod because he thought that it was neccessary. i think he said because no matter what condition you are in you always want to be listening to something. im not sure though on what he said

When I saw the Ipod one of the first thing that crossed my mind was that, and I hope that one is there, playing stealth while listening your favorite tracks... well... I HOPE CT is included.

did you saw the "old snake" in a corner of one of the pics? that means we gonna have the chance of playing with the "young snake"?

The details are amazing.... Looking at the bland truck pic, the super high detail of dust on the windshield and the wiper blade tracks... that's just crazy. We're never even going to notice that in-game b/c it'll be at 720p O_O.... It's like so beautiful but so extraneous lol...

@Kain 81: Not to be rude, but I'll believe it when I see it. My guess is it'll be scaled to 1080p and not true sampled 1080p. Which isn't bad mind you... since all 360 games do that anyway and its funny listening to 360 fans harp about how they have 1080p, but really know an iota of what goes into a 1080p image.

I don't believe it is 1080p native. I believe it is 720p native (those hi-res captures are taken with a resolution of 720p after all), with ability to upscale to 1080p (MGO pretty much confirmed 1080p resolution). Also confirmed framerate of 60fps by IGN's playthrough. I wish I had a killer sound system though. MGS4 has killer audio.

On a serious note, even though the characters are less refined than KZ2, the environmental details, machinery, and other fine details really do give KZ2 a run for the money.

damn cant wait no longer 21 days left to play a master piece thats why i have Pre-ordered it all ready hopefully get the game 1 to 2 days early it has been a very long wait for me as for all u people to hear u have a five star game it has every thing from story 2 game play 2 jaw dropping graphics every gamers dream if ur not a true gamer look away lol
