Usually there is an embargo on early reviews. These may have been listed on the Haze site because they were authorized. You just don't know Breakfast.

What you really want is something that is negative about the PS3 or one of it's titles. Therefore your comments, your wants and desires are worthless. What you want matters little because the last thing anyone would care about is the opinion of a full blinders on naysayer.

Particularly one that is scrambling for a toehold as he is slowly pushed over the ledge by his nemesis rising to power.

I heard if you up the difficulty, its a lot better but too lazy to re play the demo lol. Game should be ok. I really don't see why the game should get 6's and 4/10's. At the very least it should get a 7. I mean it has pretty decent looking vehicle sections 4p coop and multiplayer.

Living up here in the North, we only get about 4-5 months of decent weather a year. I hardly play games during the summer months and I will have to make an exception for MGS 4. After that, my next game will probably be LBP... maybe SOCOM. I might pick up Haze as a bargain in '09 if everyone seems to like it.

resistance's online alone deserves an 8/10. It is just so fun. Famitsu was more impressed with Haze than Orange Box

And it was a 9 out of 10...just think it was a launch title...that really did not use the SPEs of the Cell...The online had 40 players with no lag...no other game has come close except for Warhawk with its lag free 32 players...but warhawk is extensively using the SPEs...

Resistance 2 will blow us all away...they will get the textures up to par...sure it will not look as good as Killzone 2...nothing will not even gears of war 2...but Resistance 2 will probably look as good as gears 2...insomiac has the talent...and resources of all of sony..

I don't go by reveiws usually, but really, when you have to say "astonishing" on a 9/10 review, really....
The gameplay was fun, great actually, which did matter a lot...but graphics at least on par with other games(Warhawk at least) could have been acheived here and weren't. There are cerrtain things in the FPS catagory needed here that lust seem lacking/missing. The "disappearing bodies" thing is fine because it's with the storyline but the faces just look plastered, the suits look good but don't make up for it, and while the physics are good the enviroments just make it crash. Sound and story are there and are slightly better than a run of the mill FPS but they don't make up for the graphical downside and the unpolished feel. 2 sides are fine and great but when the AI is so bad...really, they ran RIGHT INTO MY MACHINE GUN in the demo...no wall "cover" physics either...sorry FR.

There are a lot of people convinced merely by the name of the developer alone.

I know it's like being a sheep but it's really hard to believe that Free Radical would make a mediocre game. It's hard to believe because they never have. Call it hope, blind faith, whatever. I just don't think that they would release anything subpar.

I am one of those people that will purchase this game on the developers reputation alone.

We all remember how last year it was nearly considered a sport to bash PS3 titles on this site. I think we are see an attempt to revive this sport at Haze's expense.

COD4 is getting traded in for HAZE. My only worry about HAZE is that it will have as many or more issues with it's online play as COD4.

I dont know, I have some doubt about IGN, esp since they rating Pro Evo soccer so highly (weren't they the highest reviewers of the game) and then when you play the game you realise that IGN is advertised throughout the game. For me IGN lost alot of credability there.

4 player co-op was featured in Rainbow6 Vegas, both co-op story and co-op terr hunt. Sadly, they removed the 4 player (in favor of 2 player) for the story mode in the sequel.

But that's alright, since this war began we have spent 1.5 trillion a week to fight and the price of a barrel of crude oil has more than doubled. This war will cost the average american household 30,000, and now we are in worse deficit than we have ever been in b4, coming off of our highest surplus from the Clinton Amdin. And I'll tell you another thing, I myself am a devoted PS3 fanboy, but I'm not so blind as to say that Haze will be a good game. If you've played the demo then you should know this game is garbage!

The only reason it got such a high score from this review was because it was Playstation Magazine.

oh and the "War" is not what is hurting the economy. If you knew anything about economics its truly the Banks fault for lending people too much money who couldn't afford to keep pay it back. Its called GREED. Once they start to up the price of Bonds the market will begin to normalize again. They continued to cut the interest to get people to spend money. AND THEY DID. problem is the wrong people with horrible credit were spending money they couldn't pay back. Sidenote: I dont think any of the presidental candidates are good this time around. It is hurting it more than real estate and sub prime lending! War causes turmoil in the middle east which causes the price of petrolium to go up which in turn cause the price of EVERYTHING to go up. Not to mention this is the first time we've been in a war and have had tax cuts instead of a tax increase!

When Bush took office a barrel of crude cost 30$, now it costs 120$. By the end of the year it is predicted we will see 5$ a gallon gasoline prices. That hurts every industry!

I find the fact you are voting for Mccain hilarious but predictable. If Mccain would have his way we would go to war with Iran, which would act as another sap on our economy. Not to mention Mccain was the first to speak out against Bushes tax cuts, now he supports them. Mccain was anti-torture, now he supports it.

We supplied the afghans w/ the means to fight but not the means to rebuild. We gave them over 100million dollars in weapons but we couldn't spare 1 million dollars for schools or 1 million dollars to rebuild roads.

So in turn what happened in Afghanistan is what happened in a lot of impoverished nations in the middle east. The islamic fundamentalist seized control and with it they brought their anti western beliefs.

Don't talk to me about the Afghan war, I know more than you ever will son. My co-worker lived in Afghanistan since he was 14, and he talks regularly to the family that he still has their. Afghanistan is no better now than it was before. Before there was order. It might have been strict, you might have got your hand cut off for stealing, but there was still law. Now it is corrupt, you can't do anything w/o bribing someone. If you want to get someone out of jail you have to pay 40,000 in their currency. Not to mention the mass destruction that took place in that country.

This all could have been averted if we would have just given the afghans the means to rebuild their nation, but all we cared about is defeating the soviets.

And last time I checked, The song ScentlessApprentice (which in case you forgot is from In Utero) is meant to be interpreted as SCENTLESS apprentice, because Kurt Cobain named the song after reading a particular novel about a child who was born with a very heightened sense of smell, but with no smell of his own. Why the hell would Kurt Cobain be referring to cents (the correct way to spell cents, as in referring to dollars and cents, YOU FOOL).

The song was inspired by the novel Perfume by Patrick Suskind, about a man born with an amazing sense of smell but no smell of his own. He was an apprentice in a perfume shop and becomes a murderer of young girls for their scent. He basically starts to kill people to steal their smell. It's a novel about abhorrent irony.

So yes tony, the song is meant to be interpreted as SCENTless apprentice, because it fits the theme of the book. Here you are trying to give me some kind of a lesson about the music I listen to, and you don't even know the history behind Nirvana's music. I know more than you do. I guess you must be some 30-something year old man (I assume since you refer to me as "son") who still can't get a position with your employer that is beyond the lower-levels of the company's heirarchy. And these WMDs we were supposed to find were never defined in the first place. Were they nukes, chemical weapons, dirty bombs? All we found was Hazmat suits.

North Korea, Iran, Pakistan, these are countries that pose a much greater threat than Iraq.

Not to mention that the intelligence he based the war on was highly flawed. This intelligence was given to us by the Germans, they confirmed it was flawed, but that didn't stop Bush.

And to say the War has no impact on oil prices are downright ignorant. Oil companies know that in a time of war they can get away w/ charging more because the U.S. can not allow an oil shortage to hinder them from fighting - it would make them look weak.

There is a reason gas prices don't change on the weekends. The big whigs who set the prices are off! This just goes to show gas prices are not set by any realistic factor. Its all about how much they can milk it.

Don't you think it's funny that even that oil companies post record profits year after year? They never have an underperforming year - even at times when the economy is bad. Could this have anything to do w/ the fact that we have a president that is heavily invested in the energy industry? Do you really think he is going to work on solutions to our energy crisis? You know how much money the president and his supporters would lose?

I bet you couldn't even survive recruit training. I was actually in the Army for 2 years; as soon as I graduated high school in 2004 and I left to further pursue a career in business and accounting in 2006. I didn't plan on making the military my permanent career path because I was honestly just hoping to obtain a lot of additional funding from the Army to go to a good college.

The day you join the military and stay there for at least 24 months is the day that you can have a respectable opinion on how military life works and how to "hack" it. I have actually "hacked" the military for a greater amount of time than you ever will (in case you didn't know, two years in the military is greater than your current tenure in the military, which is zero).

You completely got owned by my previous post, so don't try to act now like you really "didn't care" and were just "making a pun". How can you legitimately joke about it when you didn't even read my user name correctly? You, my broken condom-of-a-man, are the one with the idiotic logic.
