Afrika Coming This August?

According to online retailer Play-Asia.com that is, who I've frequently import games from and are pretty reliable on Japanese release dates. The exact date is August 28th, the typical date for most Japanese games release. However, Afrika was missing from the recently released list of upcoming PS3/PSP games but since that is geared towards North America PS3 owners, I think it's highly possible that my most looking forward to game will come out this summer. The version listed here is Asia version, which sometimes feature English language but we should wait for Play-Asia.com updates on that.

Oh god me too, one of my most anticipated games.. i was actually kind of getting worried if it's even going to be released, haven't heard anything for so long!

And oh yea AQUA!!!! I've been jonesin' for a realistic underwater sim for SO LONG, ever since i was playing NES. The couple vids i've seen of Aqua look amazing, really beautiful stuff..

Are these the same as the platinum games for PS2? Why aren't we getting these releases? D;

I want to buy Resistance again (my disc got cracked :<) but I don't want to buy it for full price ;___;

Anyway, do we know what Afrika is yet? I hope it's something like an open world Pokemon Snap, god I loved that game :3 Then we could upload photos of the happenings into Home and display them with the world! :D

EDIT: After refreshing my memory with the trailer, we can see ourselves driving around, looking through binoculars and sneakinjg around with a camera. If it is a Pokemon Snap-esque game, you heard it from me first. If not... This comment never happened >_>

Er... because some us don't restrict ourselves to running around shouting 'BOO ya!' and shooting each other in the head all the time.

Some people, and I'm one of them, enjoy diversity in our gaming, and that means I'm happy to play titles that are a little bit different and will happily play Everybody's golf, or Singstar, or Eye of Judgment AS WELL as running around shooting people in the head.

As you can see form the responses in this thread, I'm not the only one who would enjoy it, and if this is indeed a 'pokeman snap' type title as looks likely, many of us will be very happy with that. One of the things that Sony has always done well with its machines, is to cater for a broad demographic and not be afraid to make titles that are a bit different, and this generation seems no different in that regard.

For every 'Resistance 2' I'm happy to see an Afrika and look forward to hearing more about the title.

I know this game is probably gonna be set in Africa or somewhere like that mainly Savannah terrain but wouldn't it be funny if there was some kind of rare animal in the game Let say OOO idk Bigfoot mayb lmao & yea I know that this is kind of off-topic & it really wouldn't make sense if it were in the game But I would Laugh like hell if u were just randomly takn shots in the game & all of a sudden u see Bigfoot out in the open doing his famous walk (U know the Patterson footage where he turns his head back then walks away)LMAO >XD

...or at least has an English soundtrack. I will be pissed if this game is available for the Asian market only. (With that said, I've been please with Play-Asia's service to date....)

I enjoy variety (and great graphics!) in my PS3 games, and the clips I've seen so far from this one look beautiful.

I might download a demo and see - certainly not buying before trying on this one. But oh my god the delay on some of the things these guys promise is getting ridiculas. Im sure they gonna promise spaceship flights or something soon, knowing that they get big marketing hype but not deliver for years and years

I cant wait to see how this turns out.

I have a feeling this game might have the best console graphics this year if it comes out. Im pretty much expecting to see some super realistiv environments and animals walkin around, and doin whatever animls... well do i guess. Looks like one of those games the family can have a good experience with.
