GameSpy: SOCOM: Confrontation Preview

Sony's highly popular team-based shooting series is getting an upgrade. The SOCOM franchise has long been a fan-favorite for PlayStation gamers. In fact, the devoted fan-base is no doubt looking forward immensely to this first iteration of the series on the powerful PlayStation 3 hardware. GameSpy got to take a closer look at Confrontation earlier today at Sony's pre-E3 event, and crappy hotel bandwidth withstanding, the game is shaping up to deliver what the SOCOM community has been wanting for some time.

Sounds like a lot of fun. Never played any SOCOM game but I think I'll be buying this.

Same here, this will be a first time play of a Socom game for me.
