I don't know if you're serious, but:
1. The game is probably made to atract western gamers more than japanase gamers, not only american gamers though.
2. The game is developed by Guerilla, a company from the _Netherlands_.

the many delays and expenses put into this game it would ruin GG'S reputation for good,i would never buty another GG game if killzone2 fails to live up to expectations alot of hope is riding on this game,sony does need an answer to halo because that is a jewel in microsofts crown a very shiny jewel a great game, but then again theres also resistance 2,

japanese people are smart and they will want to at least check it out for the graphics...

but even if it did fail.. better one game than the whole console.. i think that killzone will sell more copies in japan than microsoft have sold 360s which is not a big goal

Gamers will buy games at first for the graphics and hype, but if the Gameplay doesn't live up to it, reviewers will wanna chew it up.

Personally, I think,(The longer a game has been in development, the more critical reviewers will be. 5 years KZ2)

Gears had both when it debut( and helped 360 sales/online subscriptions)

While we do not expect the same type of WHOA!! the second time around it's Gameplay is looking to improve. Of course this is not about Gears but pertaining to your comment.

its been in development for about 3 years and if it releases in feb 09 then it will have a total development time of around 3 1/2 - 4 years

Spartan is correct on that one. People just like making up release dates as attempts to chew the game out. After the direct feed gameplay footage, most of my problems with the game have been put to rest. I hope they have more mini boss battles and they need to tune the A.I. to make it a lot harder in order to create a sense of desperation.

Graphics looks good and gameplay looks solid. The cover based shooting seems to work well. They need to make it so taking cover is almost a necessity to survival and the game is a winner in my book
